How fast do SSRI's work

Started celepram two days ago and have experienced lack of libido, nausea to the point of vomiting,the inability to both cum keep an erection and also headaches........... I imagined effects becomming apparent after a few weeks not a few days..........Just wondering if my reaction is phsycosomatic or do the drugs take effect this quick?.........I'm only on 20mg per day........

Psychosomatic, unless you are having an alleergic reastion. From sound of it, stop using it

Am I the only one who doesn't get a lowered libido from SSRIs? I don't even get impotence. Only delayed ejaculation, but that is enough to keep me from ever touching them agaian, regardless of what I have to deal with in exchange.

If you are using SSRIs only for chemical castration, I would strongly recommend that you don't. They are not meant for that, and they are not chemical castration anyway.

I've been on SSRI's for almost three years now. My sex drive is down 90%. No more erections without Viagra!

Anyone got any suggestions on what to take to finish off my libido? I don't want to feminize, I just want chemical castration.

from my short experience (a month) cymbalta will kill everything within 5 days, no desire, could not get there no matter how hard you tried with or without a partner, it was like walking around in a fog for me, for what I do for a living, I could not operate like that,a wrong move in a live electrical panel would have dire concequences , so I dropped off,

strange thing is , it changed something mentally or nervewise, cause sexual things are different now, cant explain or describe , but it did change things:-\
