Castration definitely will cure masturbation. I only try it once in a great while to see how much cum I have left in my shrunken prostate, and it doesn't really satisfy me or even feel that great. Sex with the wife is okay but not very satisfying for me (she gets off okay). Most of the time I don't even orgasm.

Castration will not cure Masturbation, but getting older sure puts a big dent in it. When I first discovered masturbation I could not do it often enough. Several times a day was my norm, what a rush better than any other feeling in the world. Now that I'm about to join the Social Security set, the mind remains willing but the body response is always below expectations. Down to about once a week and although I'm good health the volume of fluids is low and the pleasure limited. Anyone have suggestions on how to bring the zing of a earth shaking climax back?
I guess we're all different. My partner and I turn 65 this year. His b-day was almost 3 mos ago. Mine's next month. In addition to the sex between us and occasionally with others, I still masturbate almost daily even though I'm castrated (HRT!). And I still enjoy it even if the small squirt isn't what it used to be. My partner - balls intact - also masturbates frequently and shoots gobs. I understand we're healthier for it.

The way I see it, masturbation is something that one indulges in less if they're occupied by other, more interesting things. Without a doubt, when I am racing on circuits, fighting an airsoft skirmish, or playing PvP on MMORPGs, sex and arousal are the last things on my mind.
Most times I masturbate, I do it more out of boredom than out of any necessity.

There are a couple of factors that play a role in the frequency of masturbation. They are age and T levels (and usually younger age equals higher T levels, which may be the primary factor).
It is not at all uncommon for a male in his teens and early 20s to masturbate multiple times daily. Outside of that age group, more than once daily and even daily may be not as common, but it depends on T levels and how else you are getting sexual satisfaction.
Although I started late (not till 16), I did it frequently once I started. Usually twice a day, occasionally three. Longest I ever went without was 2 weeks (that was during a religious kick). This continued until my surgery at age 20.
I've always suspected that my drive may have been a bit higher than normal even given my age. Looking at my body pre surgery, it was likely I had pretty high T levels. High T levels tend to suggest high sex drive. And while most young men have higher T levels than most older men, there is variation even among young guys, and not all have the highest levels possible.
I'd say as long as it doesn't interfere with your life or get you in trouble, have fun.
Hello Plix I meant to ask you what you meant looking at your body prior to having the op done what makes you say you have higher levels than normal or preety high levels if you dont mind me asking?
I was surprised to find this thread here, though I do realise that a lot of males visit the site to increase their stimulus and arousal. There's nothing wrong with that for guys with libido and who enjoy handling their genitals.
It's a non issue for me personally. I've only once achieved an orgasm in the last 5 or so years and the outcome was unpleasant and unrewarding, totally.

Sexual exauting yourself is not a good things however not enough is not a good thing either.
