Avatar photos
I think there were some posts about this and I looked for them, but could not find them. So, sorry for being repetative. The first time I tried to put in a photo for an avatar, it showed like digital breakup - all blocky. The second try, I ran a photo thru PowerPoint to add text for a joke. That showed OK. We just took another photo inspired by a comment from Yoli and it shows up now again as the blocky, digital breakup-type of image. What can I do?
Re: Avatar photos
Maximum pixel dimensions should be 199 in either direction, or less.
When you compress the JPG, make sure it is 15k or less, otherwise, VBulletin will mangle it.

Re: Avatar photos
After all these years I am still trying to think of a good avatar for me. Suggestions appreciated.

I think its a great chance to be creative. Being "Mr T" has been fun but disapointing to the people I met at the MOM event when they pointed out I'm not Black...
I give Kudos to people who are willing to post their Actual Picture. Not sure I would be comfortable doing that.
tugon? Two GUN? Like Dirty Harry in Mirror image with TWO 44 magnums?
One thing I would like to say. I realize we are here for a zillion different reasons and some folks are here because they are stimulated by the concept but... I sure wish we didn't have the really graphic avatars. I have little kids who show up at random times and I hate having to explain why Daddy is emailing a Penis or whatever.
I realize I'm a hypocrite since I think I told Jenny her Avatar where is has nothing on but the radio was very nice

Mrt.
My avatar is a real picture of Cilantro.
I am not a pretender or Richard Nixon.

Re: Avatar photos
Use a photo editor such as Photoshop to reduce your avatar picture to 200 height by 150 width, otherwise it's distorted and pixelated.
