I still want to get them removed surgically, so that there will be physical proof of my castration.

I don't understand the "need" to prove anything -- it almost sounds related to a court-of-law type requirement. At this stage in my life (mid-60s), I have learned that I do not need to prove anything to anyone. I am who I am, and my acceptance is a matter within my [spiritual] self, and for/by/of no one else.

Would you mind elaborating on your perspective about the need to prove something?

It is not uncommon for a fantasy to be castrated to start to move into the realm of reality. But in these cases extra caution is always needed because sometimes it can just be that the fantasy is masquearading as reality. It might all still be just fantasy.

It's a lot more than just "difficult" to see your partner get castrated. For most, it means the end of the relationship. Someone who wants to have their nuts cut off is not an everyday thing, and your boyfriend isn't going to say, "Oh, it's only that you want to become a eunuch? Why didn't you say so sooner? It's no bigger than changing your hairstyle."

There is no reason to expect that all it will take is introducing him to another happy eunuch to suddenly be happy with you wanting to be a eunuch. If you were someone who thought he needed to kill himself so you could go be with the alien gods in another galaxy, would you think all it would take in order to get him to accept it is introducing him to another person with the same beliefs who was happy because of them?

You believe you'll still want to and be able to please your boyfriend once you're cut? That's nice, but just because something is believed does not make it reality. You're going to want to base this decision on a lot more than just what you believe.

You don't think it's possible to really want something that is not right for you? Look at me. Before my surgery, I knew for sure I wanted to be a eunuch and that there was no way I could be wrong.

I was wrong. I am dealing with major regret issues now. And it's not fun to know that TRT is not going to bring me back to who I was, and that I am stuck this way forever.

This is a case where you absolutely must try chemical castration first. If you do not, I can almost guarantee you will regret it.

You need to know every single known effect of castration, and you need to know if you can handle them all. The only way is chemical castration.

I certainly hope that you back away a little and take the time to think this through and do it right. You only get one chance with castration; there are no do-overs.

Thanks for your opinoin, it must be very difficult to handle regret after surgery.

Castration is not something to decide with your head under the arm. It is something you have to think over for a considerale time, and get a full overview of all sideeffects.

You can have chemical castration. It would be wise, but do you feel like a eunuch? Do you not just feel impotent? I can relate to Kangans feeling about having his testicles removed to be what he wants to be.

A main issue for me are not to be a intact male anymore, but to be a eunuch.

offcourse, its for rest of your life, and if you regret it, the consequenses are horrible!

Yes, I believed there were gender issues when I had my surgery. No, I no longer believe there are gender issues. Which goes to show that even potential gender issues are no guarantee. These issues need to be confirmed, and then castration as a treatment needs to be confirmed as the best possible option.

I believe that anyone who identifies as "eunuch" needs to undergo therapy to explore the identity and the best way to handle it. It should be no different from how it is for TGs. They have to confirm and explore the identity through therapy.

And no matter what your motivation, chemical castration is a must. You said it yourself about needing a full overview of all side effects. This doesn't happen through just reading about them. You need to experience them for yourself before you do anything permanent, although even short-term chemical castration likely causes some degree of permanent changes.

I think when a male has a strong desire to be castrated, it's hard to convince him or confirm what's right or wrong. From my experience, when I still had my testicles, my fantasy about getting castrated did indeed turn into a strong absolute need. I doubt that anyone could have convinced me that I didn't need it. Once I got castrated, my desires went away almost entirely, along with my sexual desires. That's why I believe my desire was tied too testosterone, both mentally & physically. That said, trying chemical castration can confirm whether it's right for a man, but will it stop his insistent desire? Probably not. I remember that Taula said that if a man has a desire to be castrated, he most likely will be castrated. Food for thought.

I can relate entirely to Xerxes. I'm quite aware that testosterone produced by my own balls is causing me wanting to have them cut off, bizarre..........

however, this knowing doesn't make the urge to get castrated go away.

still, enough reason not to throw oneself into something you might regret, try to take advantage of anyone's advice!

I really can relate to this. I really do have a strong desire to be castrated myself, however, I am taking my time in doing this, I want to find out as much information as I can. I want to talk to others who have been castrated and find out from them what life was like for them both before and after castration. I know that at some point in time I will go through with it because the desire is so strong, but I really do want all the information I can get before hand.

I think most people who have really done it will tell you its not a good thing to do for sexual / fetish reasons. And also that its not as simple as a shutting off of being male. Sex drive is only one thing that changes. You might get serious depression. And NOT because your missing your Testicles or changed your mind. Lack of Male hormone levels can give you depression like symptoms. You can get anxiety issues. Loss of energy. Your will to get up and do things can lower and thats a problem depending on what you do for a living. There are medical risks. Bone loss and so on.

Anyone in love with the idea of being castrated needs to remind themselves that there is a life after the surgery and at least plan on how they deal with it. Talking to a professional (Your MD and or a Mental Health Expert) is a good step. I think that if your really into the idea and you can still say "I want to be castrated" right AFTER an orgasm test driving it with Chemicals is far better then laying down on the operating table. At least with the Chemical route you can change your mind when you find out what its really like.

HOWEVER. I on the other hand experienced none of those problems whatsoever. I had no problems with hot flashes, depression like symptoms, diminished sex drive (but then my sex drive was pretty minimal to begin with) or any other problems. And I'm glad that my scrotum and testicles which started out small and had increased in size during my forties are completely out of the way now.

of being chemically castrated.

This phonecall will be my first step to become a true castrated Eunuch.
