Tim's Last Orgasm

This is my fault. To make a long technical story somewhat shorter, when a story gets submitted to the archive, the filename that gets created is a combination of the title and the minute and second that it was submitted; this system was supposed to ensure that there wouldn't be any duplicated filenames ... I mean what are the odds that someone would submit a story with an identical title AND do so at exactly the same minute and second that another one was submitted? Granted there are 24 times during the day that would generate the same minute and second combination, but still the odds aren't that great!

Charlieje managed to hit the jackpot with Tim's Last Orgasm 12 ... it generated an identical filename as Chapter 4 of the same story.

Charlie graciously resubmitted Chapter 4, and in me zeal to delete the 'old' Chapter 4 so it wouldn't show up in the index twice I didn't think that by deleting the old Chapter 4 I was actually deleting the file for Chapter 12!

It's all terribly confusing ... so long story short ye olde Archivist blew this one big time. I have sent a note to Charlie to see if he will be kind enough to re-post chapter 12, which I will be careful NOT to delete!

Having been the one who found the initial problem, can I just say thanks for taking the time to sort it out and for letting me know that it had been done.

As for the subsequent problem, just blame it on the computer. After all, every one knows that 'to err is human' but not every one knows that it takes a computer to really louse things up.

I am glad that they do, I earn a very comfortable living from putting such things right.

Charlieje, I am really enjoying this story and i am eagerly awaiting the next installment. I am hoping that Tim will soon get his castration and that Tim's brother or Nathan will get a complete nullification (or better yet, both will).

I just wanted to check in with Y'all (hehe pretty good southern talk for a misplaced Canadian, EH?).

I really appreciate all the posts, email, etc... this one has been a lot of fun to do, and Y'all owe a big thank you AGAIN!!! to Bboy for his help and input.

Unfortunately the posts are going to slow down a little now... things have got hectic both at work and at home and I'm not able to spend as much time as I had been, but we'll get there...

Things are going to get a little hectic for Tim in the next little while, but he is from good stock.. so we'll just have to see.
