Hello all. As most of you know now I was Dr. Felix Spector's partner at the end of his life. Tugon and I live near each other and have become friends. We have been tossing an idea about. At the end of Felix' life he and I came to Ohio and rescued a 150 year old Victorian mansion that had been built by my great-great-grandfather. My ancestor had been a conductor on the "Underground Railroad" and the house had been a "station." Felix was a great proponent of civil rights (having campaigned for civil rights for many minorities throughout his life - including our minority) and liked the idea of saving the old estate and dedicating it, in part, toward education and awareness of civil rights (the Underground Railroad having been America's first civil rights movement).
Our idea (Tugon and myself) was to offer the estate for a Meeting of Members (not to interfere with the usual MoM) at the estate. In this way members of our community could see the good works Felix was involved in toward the end of his life and perhaps get to know him a little better in this way. I have spoken with my V.P. and the organization that owns the estate would be happy to host this event. There is tons of room in the 9500 square foot house for a giant eunuch slumber party
So this is an open call for opinions, advice and help toward this end.
Cheers!
Jeffrey
