Talula's beer of choice is Old Milwaukee Best Light.

I remember once when I was a kid and Ford was President (how's that?) - a friend and I got into Mom's stash of beer. It was Coors 3-2, smuggled back when you couldn't get it here. It took 3 cans a piece to get us both drunk. Spanking didn't work either, because we thought it was funny, or so they told us. I don't remember it.

Years later, when I was of age and got a bartender's permit, we ordered in some Bass Pale Ale. Now THAT was good stuff!

Got hold of some Speckled Hen recently at a local shop. My friends spit it out and would not drink it. One made me chill it COLD and he still would not drink it :( Of course it's not the best beer from the U.K. but it's better than the yellow coloured water they call beer here!

Cheers!

I'm partial to some of the Scottish ales myself. That or a stout or a nice bitter.

If you want a decent American beer, you have to look to the smaller brands. Among beers brewed in my area, I like Yuengling Porter, and also their Black & Tan.
