i used to have a problem with a guy phoning my ' new ' mobile number he would ask for lisa i would tell him he had the wrong number and hang up finally after a month of him calling i gave up telling him the truth so the next time he rang i told him i had stolen the phone from lisa laughing loudly i ended the call

he phoned the police telling them i had stolen the phone they contacted tmobile who told the police lisa did not own that number the police phoned the guy and told him to stop wasting police time or he would be charged for wasting police time !

poor old lisa no wonder she changed her number just to get rid of a guy like that !!

Few years back I had a number that was one digit off from the liquor store down the street. Put a sign up next to the phone that specifically directed people to answer the phone "Liquor store.." Then offer to have the orders delivered at no extra charge and hell we'd even throw in a free somethingorother were the caller to order more than $50 worth of booze. On rare occasion they'd call back to ask where the delivery guy was... "He's outside right now go answer your door" and hang up or some other bs story. hehe... good times.

One of my buddies is a DEmocratic elector who works for AT&T. Since neither of us wants John McCain to be the next president of the U.S., we've come up with a plan to slightly divert his funds.

All future calls for the Committee to Elect John McCain President of the United States will be transferred to River current telephone number.

Today, I remembered that back when I first moved into my house, I got those "heavy breathing" "curse" annoyance calls. Whoever it was would say something like - I want to see you naked..

About the third phone call, I answered - "how about I tie you up and fuck your ass from here to tomorrow..." The second time I said "So that's it?" Let's try black leather and whips. I'll suck your cock, you cuss, cuss, cuss and all sorts of vulgarities.

They never called back. I guess I scared them.

Either that or it ceased to be fun.

My wife and I get three or four calls a week for a restaurant whose number differs from ours by one digit. They even put OUR number in their newspaper ad at least once.

The restaurant was very nasty when we called about their placing OUR telephone number in THEIR newspaper ad.

My wife and I now take reservations for them, especially for large groups, and even offer customer specials on occasion....

I called these people once to place a food order for a restaurant down the street. The lady that answered had a very thick asian accent. She told me that she was the restaurant and took my order. I only was ordering three of four items but it took her ten minutes to take my order because we couldn't understand each other. I was getting so frustrated, I was going to go down and complain to the owner. Anyways, we finally got the order settled, and when I asked about the price, she told me that she would let me know when I got to the restaurant.

So I get to the restaurant and look around, and the only people working are white teenage boys. I ask about my order, and apparently they had had no calls all night. I just had to laugh after that. That girl was good.

I don't know if its working or not but now I am telling them that "John died, yes it was tearable and so sudden, because if that bastard has not died and just left me getting his calls I am going to be pissed". The last guy sighed with the first part, busted out laughing on the second and said "I take it you have gotten quite a few calls for John?" I said yea, I have, he said he was sorry for disturbing me and signed off still chuckling.

The calls have started to slow down, who knows maybe John is dead.
