How do I copy text to a post
Hello All, I Recently posted some links to newspaper stories. Kristoff was able to post the text later. I notice that at the end of the text it reads, "lasted edited by kristoff, please post the text of the story as links go away" or something like that. How do I copy the text to the post? Do I just highlight and copy? Duh! Computer knothead here! (I wish I could spellcheck this)

Spelling seems fine to me. And yes, just highlight the portion you want to copy, then right click and you wiill see "copy" as an option, click it. Then go to the spot where you would like to insert the text and click so you see the cursor. the right click and select paste. that should work just fine...

Always open the text in a word process - any decent one will do. Be sure to edit out any pictures and such. Just move the text only from the word processor. In word cntrl+a, Cntrl+C, go to where you want it, contrl+V. Select Copy and Paste

Re: How do I copy text to a post
Thanks Kristoff and Lurker, I'll give it a try next time I find something worth posting. The spelling reference is really at my frustration with this keyboard. The insert key is right next to the spacebar. I keep entering text in the middle of a finished sentence. What a bad design!
