The Red one speaks valuable truth. This is one of the most dangerous things you could undertake. --FLO--

Now let's think about this for a bit - if you hit a vein and inject something toxic, it can go anywhere in your system and do all sorts of damage. Toilet cleaning chemicals? What happens if that gets into the circulatory system? I use that stuff to eat solidified film chemicals off of machine racks! And it smokes; the fumes are toxic! Good God, man! I can't begin to put words to the danger in that.

Then again, I guess it proves the desperation of some folks to be rid of their balls, or at least the function of them.

All in all, surgery is the safest route. If you really are set on getting castrated, do it the right way, the safest way. Why inject something into your body that might have consequences down the road? Stay safe!

Hey everyone. I was the one who originally found out about Chem-Cast. It sounded promising because the veterinary patents claimed it was less painful than other castration methods.

However, I have since known about three guys who have gone ahead and used it, and it is truly a bad idea. As mentioned above one guy almost died.

Now, to be honest the reason it was so dangerous was that he was impatient and injected more than he was supposed to. But that is the danger with self-castration, our eagerness outweighs prudence.

Anyway, the acid will leak out of your testicles and then start burning holes in your scrotum, while causing hemotomas and such.

It is excruciatingly painful, and this is from people who claimed to be generally pain sluts to begin with.

Sorry, but there is no safe or painless self-castration. I've researched this for years.

There is one thing coming up though that sounds promising: immuno-castration. They already do it in Australia for veterinary purposes. One shot causes your own body to shut down testosterone production permanently.

I beg to differ. My self castration was quick, easy, and mostly pain free. In fact it was so easy to do, it was scary. No injection, no blood, no fuss, no muss. It was over in about 2 minutes and the effects are permanent. My balls are still there, but they are just hunks of dead flesh.

Maybe I was lucky?

You were one of the few that were lucky. The over whelming number are not as lucky as you. Good number fail and end up doing some major damage. Often will make them end up in the ER. Do it your self castration is risky. I am happy that it worked for you. But encouraging others on how easy it can be with out telling the associated risk is not being fair to them.

Kangan,

Check me on this, but I believe I read that "atrophied testicles" can lead to or cause cancer. Maybe Kimmel told me, but it's worth checking into. Food for thought.

Bobbie - I am well aware of the risks involved, and I've tried to convey my concerns to others.

*** DIY castration is NOT for everyone. ***

I'm not sure it was the wise or prudent thing for me to do either. As I said, "It was so easy, it was scary." That is the honest truth. It was just too easy - and as it turned out, it worked. However, I am not thrilled about having dead testicles in my scrotum. I wanted them gone, but I didn't want to perform DIY surgery, so I went the route that I did after much research and experimentation.

How sad it is, that I cannot go to my local urologist and ask to have an orchiectomy without embarrassment and/or a big hassle. How sad it is, that folks have to resort to cutters or a questionable out-of-town surgeon with all the risks of travel and infection. How sad it is, that some folks have to take matters into their own hands.
