One more time! Why was I deleted? What is the Problem? Why can't I log in?

Hello, my account evaporated again (gunntomorrow) so I am in the re-registration queue. I am wondering if there is any way to recover my favorited stories on the fiction archive. After the last time my account disappeared, I re-added as many as I could remember and then added more later but I don’t think I can remember more than a handful now.

Been 'absent' a while, guess I lost account due to inactivity. Was able to re-register for Forums, but still not able to recreated an account to access the story section. Is it a Win-10 thing? I get lost on the newer platforms.

My understanding is that registering for the forum will move over to the fiction archives. It might take a bit of time. If that's not right, someone will correct me.

The story archive shares the user database with the forums. One ID for the forums is supposed to work for both. Some users experience problems logging into the Fiction Archive. We still cannot figure out why, even after a few years!

Also, if you do not log into VBulletin here once a year, on day 366, the system will automatically delete you.

Logging into the Fiction Archive will not maintain your user ID.

I figured it out. I misspelled my 'handle' with an extra "i"! Guess it's set in stone? Took me a while, fun getting old!

Well, shoot. I tried entering name as spelled, but that didn't do it either. I give up.

I recently just made my THIRD copy of my previous Argon123 accounts because for some reason they keep getting deleted by the moderators after a while. I always have a long list of favorite stories that keep getting destroyed randomly due to these account nukes, and I have to go find them all over again.

I have posted on this website before with the same username, so it's not like I'm making this up. Is there a way for the moderators to connect me to my old account?

I admit that I do sometimes use Incognito Mode when I'm with public, is that making the ISP different that you think I'm a troll?

It would be helpful if you define the time period this happens more than "...after a while." Please define how long that is. It could help the moderators identify or rule out at least one potential reason. That reason is, if you do not log into the forums sections for more than a year, the account goes *poof*. The remedy to that is to log into the forums once per year.
