On my vBulletin forum I have negative karma turned off. Only positive karma can be given.

It's under Usergroup Mgr. Choose the group you want to change, Registered Users, as an example, and Edit Usergroup. There, you can set whether a particular usergroup can or cannot give negative reputation. For instance, moderators and administrators - if that's what you want - could still give negative rep, while regular members couldn't.

Hey, I had to do some digging to figure out how I'd done it.

Nail on the head - I upped the value threshholds for pips and stars.

What are the current values for:

Gold Stars

Gold Pips

Light Green Pips

Dark Green Pips

System stops doing stars at 16

Can give reputation to a maximum of 7 people per 24 hours

Must give rep to at least 5 different people before repeating one

You start with 10 poimts automatically

Every 90 days, gain 1 point

for every 10 posts, gain another point

You must have made at least 1 post and have 10 points to give rep points

for every 15 points of rep you are given, you get 1 bonus point automatically.
