I was wondering how some of you spend New Year's Eve.
Would love to know that my loves here will have a great time and be safe.
As for me, I was once a wild and crazy New Year's party puppy, but that was a long time ago, maybe two weeks
That next NYE I spent alone, reflecting on that sad incident. Yoli?...alone on NYE?...Yes.
Since then Ash(leigh) and I have hosted (hostess-ed?) a gathering here at home, using the big house's facilities. We invite a limited number of friends, usually a dozen or so, and they MUST hand over their car keys upon arrival.
They all bring their jammies, toiletries, and wot-tever else, and spend the night in the various bedrooms (5). Plenty of space for all.
We swim in the heated pool, have a pool "tournament" in BG's game room, dance, play Twister (sorry, no cameras), and eat and drink until we are comatose.
The survivors rise in the AM, and everyone pitches in to make breakfast. We usually swim...that makes the hangover go away sooner, so it seems, especially since I turn off the pool heat before collapsing earlier. THAT really jolts 'em when they dive in expecting warm water...giggle.
We have a nice dinner at mid-day, including Black-eyed peas, play croquet, badminton, etc, then settle in for some college Bowl Games.
Some folks stay over past NYD and some depart for home...soberish, happy, and ALIVE.
Barry usually stays for an extra day or two so we can "get busy" if we wish (and I do wish...blush... ) and Ash[leigh] joins in for at least one session of
fun and/or games with a certified eunuch.
The point of this post, really, is to tell all of you that I so very much hope you will NOT be alone or sad on the occasion and that, above all, you will live to greet the sunrise on Jan 1.
There's plenty of time left for all of you to plan a happy time, even if you are with only one other person to exchange a "Happy New Year" with. Plan to do so safely and my prayers will be answered in the affirmative.
Side note: One of the girls in the KKK(Kinky Kastration Koven) asked if I am "On the Pill". I replied that I am not. She sputtered "Well, aren't you afraid of getting preggers?", to which I replied..."Ummm...errrr... what are my chances of getting pregnant when I only have secks with Barry, some of the girls in the KKK, and BG? (on the rare occasion when he and spouse are here.)
"Ohhhhhh, but BG still has his you-know-wots, right?" she asked.
I asked her if she'd ever heard of vasectomy. Heehee.
I will admit this, if BG were not firing blanks, as he puts it (ever the Army man!) and I did conceive a child by him, I'd be thrilled. I also know that both he AND his bride, WOBG, would be delighted too and the child's future would be bright...three loving parents and lots of money to assure his/her wellbeing.
Yes, that's how close we three are.
Oh, a fourth parent...Ash(leigh)...as she just reminded me. Three moms, Wow!
I can just imagine Parents' Night at school...OMG!
Well, off to do some...care to guess? If you said "shopping" you are a winner.
The Christmas Bonus was amazing. 90% into savings, the rest to go nuts with at the mall and BassProShops (they have lots of girly stuff, but it's the Fudge Shoppe and the fishing toys that get to me.) with. The restaurant at BPS is OK, but pricey, and the bar is OK too!
My most sincere love and best wishes to all. You have much enriched my little life.
Off I go...Snippety doo-dahhh, snippety ayyyy.
