I am not sure there are any medications that would help. From my reading of the extant literature, the penis will get smaller over time. However, this is due to the fact that you are no longer getting as many nocturnal erections during sleep. About the only way to improve that situation would be to take testosterone.

From what I have read on the Internet most cocks shrink once the balls are off as it is the testosteron that does most of the work when it comes to sex drive and errections.

Testosteron can be perscribed by the Doctor and comes as either injections or patches.

There is pleanty of info on the Internet if you do a sherch for it.

I believe the dick shrivals because it dosent get used or become errect. That may seem a bit odd apparently even if we don't have sex or wank we get nightly errections in our sleep that helps maintain its usual lenght.

However some people after castration are able to still get a hard on.

Any castrated male should expect atrophy of the penis. Taking testosterone supplements may delay the inevitable.

I was castrated Dec., of 97. My penis shrunk so much that I had to sit to pee, putting my hand in front to cause the pee to be deflected down into the bowl. Then on top of that I got adhesions inside the erectile tissue, and I could not pull the dam thing out.

I eventually said "Fuck it, either I will get it to erect, or rip it off." I used a medical Vacuum pump to evacuate the air around my Cock, and it hurt like hell. My dick also got all Black, Blue, and dark Red, as the high Vacuum in the tube caused most of the capillaries, and small Veins to leak blood.

As soon as the body absorbed it all, I did it again, and kept doing it along with just grabbing my Cock and pulling Very painfully hard, and holding it thirty seconds, about twenty times a day. Now flaccid, it is between 1" and 3 & ½" long. Using the pump with not quite as strong a Vacuum, and a 10 mm = 0.39" inside diameter strong donut style Band around the base of my Cock, I can get it to 5 & 1/2", close to two" less then it was, before my castration.

What happened;

I was Poisoned by a med student, giving two medicines that separately cause 80% of the time, a loss of all testicles function. Together, they cause 100% of that, and more then a fifty percent death rate, from stroke, and heart attack.

Why I do not take HRT;

Until it was too late to sue, I was stopped from doing so. Don't ask how, I am sick of telling the same story since 1997.

I got the Patches, back at the start of March of this year. On March 10, I had about 40 small strokes, and 4 medium strokes. I went into the hospital, for some time there. I was tested, and after some time passed I was told not to take HRT. I am also on two types of Red Blood cell anti stickiness pills. And I can hemorrhage at any time.

Now why does this bother me? Because my testosterone level was always Very high, Over 1,100 total blood count till about 12/14 years ago. Then it slowed, and got lower, all the way down to about 750-/800 back in 1995. There are other problems, but the bottom line is that I have not had a natural Hardon since 12/97. Sex has always been the single most important part of my life, and now I am dead.

I'm not the least bit concerned with the size of my penis. To me testosterone is poison. I would never consider HRT. But I do have a question for Limpone. Please don't be offended by any of this and correct me if I'm wrong. It is my understanding that you regret being castrated and you seem to be very concerned about the size of your penis. So why don't you take HRT? I'm assuming you don't.

Since the subject of shrinking of the penis has come up, I measured mine just now. A little over 3 inches, 8 months after castration. What was the length before castration? Don't know, never bothered to measure it. It will be interesting to see what happens in the future, now that I am paying attention to this subject.

I went to Dr. Spector for my castration more than 2 years ago. As far as I can tell, mine has not shrunk yet, though like Andrew I didn't bother to measure mine prior to castration.

Some of you mention the lack of erections causing shrinkage. Though my libido is way down, and I like having almost no sex drive, I still have occasional nighttime erections, so maybe that's why I have not noticed any shrinkage. This is really unfortunate for me, because I am uncomfortable with my penis and wish it did shrink:( . I guess I will have to take more direct action to lose it (either SRS or penectomy).

Now interestingly I started taking low dose estrogen (1 mg Estrace) two months ago, and I don't recall any nighttime erections lately, so maybe this will put a stop to them. But recently I did have an orgasm when I seemed to be half awake, yet my penis was not erect when it happened.
