Sorry I've been offline for a few days.
What I liked was that there was no opening exposition, but rather the narrator took the situation for granted and only explained it as the story developed.
I haven't read others of yours, but will look for them next time I dip into the archive.

Guys may I also ask for help regarding a story I've read a few months ago?
It was about some group of army soldiers who were caught by their enemy and brought to their quarters for interrogation.
One of the platoon members was tortured and if i remember clearly, the soldier was unwillingly circumcised to make their leader speak out and tell them what they want to know.
