There are two kinds of eunuchs. The first kind (and most common) is a male with non-functional or absent testicles. The second kind is a male with no external genitalia, such as the traditional eunuch of China or India, or what we would call a "Nullo."

Castration usually involves removal of the testicles, but the term is also used to describe the removal of the penis.

Perhaps Jesus should elaborate on this...?

I don't think removal of the penis leaving the testicles in place would be considered a castration would it? I'm with the guys who classify castration as testicle removal regardless of whether the penis is removed or not. I am not sure what the term should be for a person who has lost his penis but still has his testicles. How about a "frustrate"? Any other offers??D

Personally, I've always held the view that anyone without testes, regardless of whether they are on HRT or not, can consider themselves a eunuch should they wish to do so.

If you still have testes, the issue gets somewhat more cloudy. Should they be non-functional (whether through chem cast or nature), you are more than welcome to identify yourself as a eunuch too. The more, the merrier.

If you've just lost your penis, but still have functional testes, yeah I'd agree that 'frustrate' is about the correct term. "Penectomised" also works, but is a little more cumbersome. Heheh. I dunno, to me that would be a nightmare, but if it works for you, go for it.

I'm on HRT, but without testes, and I still feel free to classify myself as a eunuch, so make of that what you will.
