Thanks for getting back to me.

How has it gone since your initial post in November, 2007? Have there been any other changes in you phycially in that area. Does it still get errect or is that a thing of the past? What are your wifes feelings about it now ... have they changed any? Is she still supporting your decision?

I have already had a vasectomy so what you did sounds like a very non-evasive approach to self-castration. I applaud you for acting on what you wanted to do. It took a lot of courage to put it on the line with your wife and actually follow though with it the way you did.

I can still have an erection, but spontaneous (night) erections are almost non-existant now. Wife is accepting of my diminished libido. we do hug and kiss, but don't have sex very often. I could be wrong, but I think my penis is shrinking - could be erections aren't as strong, and physical length is still the same?

I investigated all sorts of options before finding my own method. I also took my time about it and did each side separately about 6-weeks apart so as to observe whether or not it was an effective method. Courage? Well, I guess you could say that. I had wanted this for so long that it didn't really take all that much courage. I do confess to having some second thoughts, but no real regrets.

Thanks so much for the update. Sounds like you are doing well and things are progressing in a very satisfactory manner. Have you been seen by any medical professional since your successful clamping? Are you experiencing any physical changes yet: sensitve nipples, breast enlargement, loss of body hair, etc. Good luck and please keep the updates coming. Made my first pass through the tool section at the hardware store, still looking for the perfect clamp.

I thought you bought the burdizzo for play

Are you finding it not as stimulating as you thought.

If you doing this by yourself you need to be very warm and stay out of the upper scrotum just under the ***** .

This is the most nervy and pain filled part especially the heavy part at the very top.

You cant do it yourself...It is extremely hard.

I've recently been to the doctor for a problem with pain in my ribs and back (muscle spasms brought on by too much exertion, I guess). He did insist on a prostate exam and a PSA test. Prostate is much smaller than it was and my PSA's are 1.1 (normal is 0 - 4.0). Hurrah! My testicles weren't checked so nobody noticed how small they have become.

I haven't noticed any feminizing effects, but then I am not taking any hormones.

I had pain just under the first few ribs on the right and also lower back dr. kimmel told me after my nuts where removed that pain would go away that’s where the main nerves go to, or through For the testes. He was right I have not had the pain since I think as they die or atrophy the main nerves cause one to have pain it was not a bad or saver but uncomfortable and annoying. just a thought

No pain connection there for me - I still have my balls (or what is left of them). It was purely physical strain that caused my back and rib pain. I'm fine now ( a month later).

I do notice changes in the weather in my crushed cords at times - nothing serious - just a mnor ache. I do want my balls removed someday. Any volunteers?:D

madscientist1 (imported) wrote: Tue Nov 27, 2007 8:52 pm It sounds like clamping the scrotum, like with banding, which causes gangrene.

Just be careful not to create too wide a crush zone that covers too much of the scrotum. Leave enough blood vessels intact to maintain the circulation there in. Pix of burdizzo events usually show about 30-50% scrotum width involved.

I think one of the useful points that Kangan has made is the prior vasectomy which I have not seen mentioned before in terms of a successful clamping exercise. The vas deferens is a more robust structure than the rest of the cord components and it makes sense to have it parted surgically in advance. Certainly, the effort and pressure required by the conventional Burdizzo approach results in significant scrotum trauma and is probably required just to deal with this tougher cord. Kangan's successful exercise with the smaller clamp and with less trauma is a very interesting outcome. i hope we hear more about it.

Interesting......do you plan on having a total castration done? What are your future plans?Ive had a chat with dr. kimmel twice, but uncertain of his steadiness. He was either really wore out for the day when I talked to him, or a slow talker.Bless that man.

I'd like my nuts removed surgically (and by a woman doctor if possible). Dr. Kimmel is too far away for my liking. I'd rather have it done where I could recover at home.

It has taken about 6-months for all of the aftereffects to kick in. My libido took the longest to fade. Unlike many eunuchs, I have no regrets about it.
