any idea's
Initially I thought I would be able to e-mail the author of each story that needed to be deleted and explain why, but unfortunately there have been too many deleted, and some authors leave an e-mail while others do not. So unfortunately the responsibility for determining why a story was rejected has to lie upon the author.
The guidelines for the stories can be found right here on the boards. If you read them and still do not understand which one (or more) was violated, then send me your story in an e-mail asking me to tell you what the problem is.
The most common reasons for rejections lately have been failure to separate the story into paragraphs, failure to place quotes around spoken words, or failure to capitalize "I". I have had a couple stories that I deleted because just about all of the spoken words were in statement form to avoid having to use quotes. By "in statement form" I mean something like "Bill told Mike that he was going to cut off his nuts tomorrow" (except without the quotes) - quotes in statement form are fine on occasion - but not all throughout the story.
Whatever the reason your stories were not accepted, I know for certain it was not because you are female.
I have had problems with e-mails relating to stories going into my junk folder which results in them getting mistakenly deleted. If I have not responded to anyone's e-mails, this is probably what has happened, and I apologize. But if you are e-mailing me to ask where your story is, I am only going to ask you to read the guidelines and determine on your own what the problem is - I may invite you to submit the story to me if you still are not sure.
