Castration by a vet

A bit of curiosity. Aren't vets much more experienced in castration than any urologist ever shall be? I don't see why a vet (provided he'd be willing, and setting aside the legal issues) couldn't successfully castrate a man.

Yes I Quiet Agree ,i Was Brought Up On A Farm Many Years Ago And Seen And Assisted In The Castration Of Farm Animals, And Knew Many Vets, They Would Often Pull My Leg And Joke About Castrating Me And Say Watch Out We Know How To Castrate A Man, As We Are Experienced If You Dont Behave Yourself,i Certainley Wouldnt Argue With One, Male Or Female.

I'd never trust a female vet to Castrate me...they love cutting animals balls....let along a Navy Corpsman Medic that I knew in San Diego that has castrated a few guys there!!!

It would be better then trying to castrate yourself. A vet has medical knowledge and practical know how. They're experienced in castrating, even though it's on animals. If you offered a vet enough money, I'm sure that you could find one to castrate you. A lot of women, if offered a few thousand dollars, would probably help castrate you. There are a lot of financially needy women and money talks.

You should start by finding a female vet and getting acquainted. The chances are not good that you would find one willing to castrate you, she could lose her license and spend time in prison if it was found out. But, desperation and a possible desire to actually castrate a man is not out of the question. There always seems to be someone willing, it's finding them that's tough. Money always talks. Hash

In UTAH one can't even get a vasectomy, they promote baby making and one has to go to Neveda or California to get sniped. I wonder if it's the same way with male VETS gay or bi who would castrate their fellow buds.

Well vets are a logical option. They have the knowledge, the experience with animals, the tools,the antibiotics, the suture materials and the local anaesthetic. No different from doing a calf or larger dog. I have read here and there of vets being involved but I suppose the risks eventually scare them away. I once exchanged messages with a guy who was done by a vet in Seattle who was active there for a while but I don't know if he is still doing anything. I suspect that if he was still active someone would have informed us here by now.

I was castrated by a vet's ass't that was also keen on CBT. Although I was the first human he'd ever neutered, he reported he'd castrated a couple of hundred domestic animals. I can't imagine that a surgeon could have done any better.

There are significant differences in reproductive organ anatomy between mammals (that includes us). However with some study an experienced vet or vet's assistant should be able to do well enough. The tricky bit comes when things go wrong. Does the vet know what to do? Does (s)he even recognize when it goes wrong? Will the vet (or cutter for that matter) be willing to face the consequences in order to get proper help for you? All good questions with no certain answers. --FLO--
