I am a 63 year old male homosexual who is in the process of serious consideration of castration and a penectomy. For the past three years I have been working with a psychiatrist and a urologist in pursuit of this goal. Without this process of self-discovery and analysis I would not feel that I completely understand what it is I want and why I want it. As with many this started as a preternatural interest in the topic that might be considered a fetish but, as time and research progressed, it became clear that this was something I actively wanted for a variety of reasons some of which are shared by all and some which are individual. There is in me an aesthetic quotient that has always felt that the extraneous dangling of a penis and tesiticles did not conform to how I saw my body. While there is no desire to be any thing other than a male, it became clear that life as a eunuch was an achievable and desirable goal. To be free of the most specific of sexual characteristics, genitals, seems the most efficient method to come to this plain. Without knowing about other uses I have been using certain drugs generally used in the pre-surgical plan. I take testosterone on a drug protocol devised by UCLA Med. for the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis. I also take Finasteride for the usual reasons that older males do, an enlarged prostate. Over time my Urologist and I have studied the general effects this has produced both sexually and physiologically. What we have reluctantly concluded is that there is no clear cut evaluation that can be made. The Testosterone has been extrememly helpful in the treatment of MS and the Finasteride has reduced the size of my prostate. (For those interested, I inject 2ml of Testosterone once a week and take a daily dose of 5 mg of Finasteride. I have the option of increasing the Testosterone as symptoms would seem to indicate.) What I would comment is that even if I harboured no interest in becoming a Eunuch, I would continue the Testosterone.
Some personal data. I'm 63, 6'5" tall and weigh 200 pounds. I hold a Doctorate in Particle Theory from the University of Southern California and additional degrees in math and astrophysics. I am involved as a satellite designer and, for relaxation, write homo-erotic porn. I was born in Cape Town, South Africa and hold dual citizenship.

Re: Introducing Me.
We seem to share the same view about not having genitals. Only you're further along with the changes than me.

Re: Introducing Me.
The last time I checked I was "for real". Or how are you defining "for real"? I am as I represent myself, honestly and with an interest in being fully castrated and nullified. As I indicate, I've been at this for some years both to fully understand my desire but to be cognizant of the potential problems. I'm grateful for all the many comments and have in the brief time I've been here have learned considerable. One point I failed to mention is that I've consulted with a plastic surgeon so that I will have the "look" I want post surgery. This is a doctor who has worked with many men who have for varying reasons been castrated and the various procedures he has used to provide them with what they wanted the end product to be. There are, I've found, a multitude of possibilities, just another thing to consider pre-surgery. To those of you who may not have consulted with a cosmetic surgeon, have your urologist refer you. It's possible to call in and make an appointment but the referrral will validate your genuine interest.DeaconBlues (imported) wrote: Mon Oct 01, 2007 11:19 pm You sound like an interesting person, are you for real?
