Well, that Eunuchoid theory is a very interesting concept. I am chem castrated with low T (82). My urologist does not know and wants to have me take T shots. I could stop my meds and take T and see if it does the shrivel thing for me. Is there some science to the concept because many guys have taken T and had not heard of the shrivel after effect before. Any light on this subject would help me to decide a course of action.
There's plenty of science to the concept. Just do web searches for "trt testicular atrophy" and you'll find a lot on the subject ("trt" means "testosterone replacement therapy").
But, to give you a brief explanation, what happens when you take testosterone is, it shuts down your natural production which, in turn, shuts down sperm production. Since the testicles are no longer working, they atrophy. The rate of atrophy and extent of atrophy is individual, but many guys report their balls shrinking to the size of small grapes and even raisins. Eventually, they can disappear entirely.
And, testosterone is very important for health (in spite of all the anti-testosterone propaganda out there) especially as you get older. Did you know, for example, that low testosterone is a main cause of incontinence in elderly men? Imagine having to wear diapers every night and waking up with shi**y diapers every morning. Talk about no quality of life, it doesn't get much worse than that.
