Bat Girl in Fond du Lac

Post by Dave (imported) »

you can search for "fond du lac and batgirl"

During a routine traffic stop last week, Fond du Lac police officers encountered a man dressed as Batgirl.

According to police reports, officers stopped the car carrying the costume-clad 23-year-old Fond du Lac man at the intersection of Ninth and Morris Streets at about 11:30 p.m. Sept. 13 because the car did not have its headlights on.

The man and his passenger, a 21-year-old Fond du Lac man, were tested for alcohol and the younger man registered .06 blood/alcohol content. Since he is on probation, he was arrested and taken to jail, according to the report.

While officers searched the men, the 23 y/o man said his wallet was in the spandex of his outfit, according to the report. Police found marijuana in the car.

The older man was cited and released, according to the report.

ALL,

If you go out in "atypical" clothing such as drag, make darn sure you are stone cold sober. (No cold pills included.) I have followed that rule for many years and have been many places in drag. Once was pulled over, but the officer did not say much. I was sober and had only gone down a one way street by mistake. Told to be more careful.

My costume was of little interest. Most of my friends who have gotten into trouble in drag was because of either alcohol, (or other drugs) or unrulely behavior.

If you go out in drag, be stone cold sober.

Regards.

When asked what type of drag I do, I tell folks Nun.

Last fall I was pulled over in downtown Minneapolis while wearing my drag. I failed to completely stop on right turn on red (naturally) - just kind slowed way down and rolled it. When the cop could catch his breath and stop laughing, he warned me and suggested perhaps I ought take off the veil while driving - improving peripheral vision and noticing cops.
