Of Pirates, Tulsa, and the Kama Sutra...

Post by FianceeUvBigGuy (imported) »

...but no Shoes, Ships, Sealing Wax, nor Cabbages and Kings.

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Well, it IS Talk Like A Pirate Day!

Even the big bosses at the office came in and and greeted everyone with a big "Arrrrrrrrrr!" this AM...whatta hoot. Also, some of us dressed the part...I had a bandana on my head, an eyepatch (which made reading and working at the 'puter a bit weird) a low cut bodice, red satin pants that were shredded at the hems, and trotted about in my black boots. I even wore a knife on my belt...Fun!

Of course, folks that came in on business were a bit taken aback.

The best part was when one of the bosses, beautifully attired as Blackbeard, took me and two other staffers, all dressed as pirates, to lunch at a nice restaurant. The manager comped our "Grog" 'cause he was blown away by our costumes. He even had pics taken with us. Might make the papers on Sunday!

Anyway...

Does anyone here live in or near Tulsa? We are heading there tomorrow in prep for the Friday night game between OU and Tulsa U. We plan a day of fun(?) in Tulsa before the game at Skelly Stadium, then some rowdiness post-victory. Will be heading back on Saturday, pausing in OK City to spend the night and raid some stores, then spending Sunday in Dallas to ditto before returning to SA on Monday. At least that's the current plan...who knows?

We could use some recommendations for good eats, safe fun and games, as well as some shopping tips and other attractions.

None of us have been to Tulsa before, you see.

Re the Kama Sutra...This site mentions that the KS gives advice re making love to eunuchs. I'm guessing that it refers to guys doing so, thus I'm disqualified, but there may be something useful there I could apply to eunuch friend Barry, or at least mention to him for use with one of his guy pals.

So, does anyone have a link to the specifics, quotes, etc?

No biggie and I don't want anyone to go out of their way for this, but thanks.

Welllllllll...gotta go select wardrobe for the trip. You can bet the majority colors will be Crimson n' Cream! Boomer Sooner! Beat the pewp outta Tulsa!

Look for me in the stands when the camera pans the Sooner fans. (I might wear the eyepatch!)

Question: How does a college team in the Heartland of America get named "Golden Hurricanes"? Well, maybe a Tulsican...Tulsoid...Tulsanese...wot-tever, can tell me.

Love to all, enhanced by what is now my third Margarita!

Yo(hic!)li

Being silly and loving it (and you!)

So Yoli was running around the office all day, in full pirate mode and regalia, with something like a ten inch bowie knife tucked in her belt.........?

Don't think I'd have come into that office on that day, without full body armor below the waist.

And a Boomer Sooner to you, too. Across the line in Kansas we take pride in the accomplishments of all the teams in this part of the world. Now. As to my own Alma Mater, Go Trojans, Fight On!

Trojans, Ramses and Metalic Red glow-in-the-dark ones used by certain Sisters are all good.

Yoli has returned from Tulsa. I see my ??? re the Kama Sutra remains unanswered.

What risk with an OU tee-shirt? Especially if my "high-beams" are on?

Skivvies? I always wear clean skivvies...thongs or low-cuts.

Hug...

Yoli

Up early to beat the traffic and "get in and get out" of the office, in by Seven AM, out by Ten AM!...then more sleep!

It wasn't a Bowie knife...more like a collector's dagger that I borrowed.

Your precious li'l ballsies and peepee would have been perfectly safe..at least until we left the office and made it to some "private" place, 🙄

Won't SOMEONE give me the straight pewp re the Kama Sutra?

Love n' stuff,

Yoli
