After three months I still have some healing to finish, including small "knots" inside the scrotum. --FLO--

Re: date on the 18th of september
I was done in two seperate operations and the second one left me with what feels like a thick scrotum. And while I had on big knot in the middle that seems to either have gone away or murged into the scrotal skin. And btw thanks for you guys posting how long this can take. The first procedure was pretty much done in 6 weeks but the second one is taking longer. Maybe because it was done so close to the first one.

There are many men who want and or need to be castrated, why is it such a hard accompolishment! There should be Clinics set up like vasectomy, but here in Utah a man can't get a vasectomy unless it's a medical thing.

I would say that based on my conversations with my surgeon there is concern over those who are young and don't grasp the finality of it. Those that want it for a sexual fetish reason and don't understand that without Hormones the interest in the sexual part of life will drop to zero or near zero. Those that are just "crazy" those that should be talking to a gender therapist about GRS and going through the standards of care not trying to short circuit that process and ah... I'm sure there are more. Oh! those with chronic pain (Orchialgia) that are better served with other treatments that might even work.
Even vasectomy is talked about and those who are young are urged not to do it. Orchiectomy (Castration) is much more perminant and not just a single thing like sex drive control or birth control. It alters your makeup. Your sexual ness etc.
