Yoli,

...

All in all it is a beautiful place and I think maybe it would be a great place to have a MOM sometime or just to meet.

Yoli is HERE!

At home, waiting for a call so I can drive further up into the Hill Country, near Kerrville, to pick up a client at a private airstrip...pooooooorrrrrrr babeeeee! Don't you just weep for folks that have to fly in their own widdle airplanes?

Dev,

This town is increasingly NOT where one might want to be.

Not only are the wetbacks and Mexican Mafia taking over, but the Katrina crowd never went home.

Although the media literally ignores, nay, denies, it there has been an increase in crime thanks to the imports from New Orleans. Fear of having Jesse Jackass and Al Sharpie descend on us keeps the authorities from telling the truth.

When Houston's mayor told all re the "refugees" he got severely slammed. Death threats followed. Sooooo...SA keeps it's official mouth shut.

Frankly, I'm working hard to be able to amass sufficient funds to assure I'll NEVER have to go any closer to downtown than Loop 1604, and that close only 'cause of some great places to shop at The Rim, on La Cantera Parkway.

Happily, BigGuy's late parents created the paradise Ash(leigh) and I live in some miles further into the Hill Country so I have fewer aggravations to face than many.

About Ash(leigh)'s name...All her close friends call her "Ash", but I began adding the rest of her name in parentheses some years ago, as sort of a joke.

Her parents still call her "Leigh" (as in "Lee") so when I have correspondence with them (and I do. They consider me a daughter, despite knowing, or at least suspecting, that Ash[leigh] and I share more than space.) I refer to my roomie/lover as (Ash)leigh!

And now...you know the rest of the story!

Love to all,

Yoli The Demure One

Anyone considering ever moving here, be prepared....it 'ain't' what they are telling. 'The River Walk?', nothing but an open sewer. Want to get sick, just drink some water out of it....want to get ripped off, try some of the yankee establisments selling their wares there. Just for the Touristas and the rip-off artists.

I was born here but moved away for another of years and then returned. The Hispanic and Blacks have totally ruined any of the inner city, south, west and east sides. Our wonderfull generat mayor....a retired federal judge...Mayor Hardberger....Mr 'Do Gooder' welcomed in the Katrina victoms with open arms. Now the Katrina Mofia is taking over some of ex-nicer areas where they were put up in apartments. Totally ruined an area....most of the businesses moving out. (Churchill area).

If this isn't enough to keep you out....one grocery has run every other one out...anyone in the know calls them the 'Filthy Butt Store.' Actuallly HEB which came from Howard Butt.

I live far north of the city. I do have to go into the north side for work, but get the hell out as soon as work is over. Yep Yoli...1604 is the boundry on the north side. I even can short cut across to New Braunfels where they have an Albertsons.

Scott....on one of his rants!

Given the nature and direction this thread has moved I decided to move it to the Cellar, where such opinions have a bit more protection.

Let me know if you find a way how to make an average Salami into an outstanding one.

H.;)

One could even consider such a possibility...??? Even up to par as an average Salami~?

Mr. Huevon please keep in mind that when you speak ill of Elmo, you are speaking ill of my penis. I believe that you owe Elmo an appology for your offensive remarks.
