I got a catalog in the mail the other day. It's full of stuff for sportsmen. Hunting is practically a religion in this part of the country. Inside was an interesting tool. It is called a butt-out. It is designed to assist in removing guts from a deer. The add said to insert it where the sun don't shine and then twist & pull. It will help extract the colon without tearing which can damage the meat. Intestinal fluids ruin the meat they contact.
I just ordered one for myself. It looks like it may be fun if used carefully. If not it would be like shiting a porcupine backwards. It can be found at
