I can bring a couple of kids next time to liven things up, if you'd like. Combined with the cats, that should be a hell of a good time in absolutely destroying Talula's and River's homes!

hehe

Just kidding...

But I know what you mean. It was odd to spend a week not wondering, "Where's that boy at?" or "What are the boys doing tonight? Is there a game somewhere I've forgotten?" Or every time the phone rings, which one of them is hurt or needs something now? It was very relaxing at the MOM...

...unlike last night's opening football game for the 15 yo. Nephew.

The next Mid West MoM will be a year from now. A lot can happen in one year.

I had an absolute blast at the MOM. Definitely the best get-together I've been at yet. Although I have learned a few things.

1) "Milwaukee's Best" is secretly dealcoholized.

2) Krister is very funny.

3) Paolo can be incredibly intimidating when he has a light saber.

Hey, I didn't INJURE anyone with it.

That light saber is in the hands of a rowdy 4 yo. now, by the way...

Sounds like a good time was had by all. Some of us Food Network viewers are curious about what else there was to chow down on, along with the brats, pancakes, and sirloins. Considering the weather, I'd presume there was no opportunity for a real barbecue, except perhaps the first night at Kristoff's place. Incidentally--does somebody still brew Hamm's beer?
