Provided you close the end of the penis a urethral relocation would have thefollowing important advantages:

Sitting down to pee is no big deal. Half of the world's population copes with that quite easily several times a day.

KortpeelCorrection - more than half of the world's population sits to pee and enjoys doing so (not just coping). Females outnumber males and many males also choose to sit as a matter of convenience.

For me a UR is the way to go. I have discovered it to be much cleaner hygenictly speaking, my issue is with a filthy loo............ no more

why just settle for a uretheral relocation? being that the urethra in the penis will become un used why not subincise it to benefit from the sensations inside? it wont make any difference to peeing if your urethra is already relocated

I am thinking about having a urethra relocation done on me. I usually always like to sit when peeing and I want to make that mandatory. I also think that this can be a good method to be used as birth control.

I would like to get in contact with people having it done, to hear their experiences and talk about pro´s and con´s.

I am not an expert in these matters, however, I know that women get urinary tract infections much more than men do. Basically, this is because the meatus (pee hole) is closer to the anus. Even if a women is very careful with personal hygiene it is possible for fecal matter to be transferred to their underwear and from there into the urinary tract. Elderly women who appear to be suffering from dementia are quite often found to have such an infection, but this is rarely the case with a man.

Colin is right, you'd have to be very careful about how you wipe if the urethra were to be relocated to the taint. For women this is a much more common problem than you might think, one bad wipe can give bacteria an opening (pun intended). This is just something that isn’t talked about often.

For people who are primarily interested in being forced to sit-down I would recommend a cheaper and safer alternative like an Ampallang (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ampallang) or other penis piercing. I personally had an Ampallang for 3 years, and although I no longer have it and can stand to pee, I don’t. It’s just so much more modern and hygienic to take a seat.
