Re: Does Burdizzo Work?????
the human males cremaster cords are much more plastic than livestock, also we tend to close the pliers too slowly and allow them time to smooch instead of crimp, due to pain. If you do 2 fast closing crimps lasting 2 min each on each side then it should work, sometimes it still doesnt.

Burdizzos tend to not work on people. Most people just go through a lot of pain for nothing.
Do a search on burdizzo and you will find many threads on the topic.

Like Jema says it suggest, it can be agonizing and for not much gain. I had mine done a couple of years ago but the attempt didn't work. I don;t know why. The pain rather puts me off another attempt...

Re: Does Burdizzo Work?????
I invented my own method of clamping that did not hurt very much, worked on the first try, and used a common woodworking glue clamp that colst $6. I did have a vasectomy first which meant that I did not have to crush the vas deferens, which is very painful to do.

Re: Does Burdizzo Work?????
Way to much pain and risky. Better just to cut them off and be done with them. Small animal quillotine works effectively, just make sure there is a hospital close by. One man got drunk, cut them off with one pull of the handle, told the ER doc that his girlfriend did it while he was passed out drunk. Or you could see Dr. Kimmel and experience a lot less pain and no embarrassement.
