Re: Wife Agreed to Chem. Castration
Last night, my wife was tired so we just spooned and went to sleep. I felt quite ok with that even if we hadn't had sex in a week.
She's a good wife except for one thing. She hates my 16 year old daughter who lives with her mother in Washington State. My daughter called me last night and told me she was on the way to the hospital with a possible broken leg. She called back this morning and said they did surgery last night and put two pins in her leg. I told my wife and she just coldly said, "Don't expect me to feel sorry for her. That's what she gets for riding a 4 wheeler on the beach." I really restrained myself and just left the room. She just started long distance cyling and when she has her first "spill", I'll remember her compassion...
The good thing is, now I have the self controll to cut HER off from sex.... ha ha ha (evil laugh).....

Speaking from experience that moment when she realizes she does not have that power over you can be a very dangerous moment.

It's been a pretty sucky weekend except for spending time with the kids. Wife has been a real bitch all weekend so I've just avoided talking to her. I actually amazed that we've been married 15 years. There have been many times that I've contemplated leaving her but never have. I just know hat if I left her, she'd do her best to make my life miserable and put the kids in the middle of it.
It seems that I'm always the one that breaks the ice and tries to diffuse tense situations between us, but I just don't fell like doing it now. As long as I've known her, I've never heard her say, "I'm sorry...". Maybe it's time?

You see this is where the danger is when you change her "power" over you. Since what she is used to and how you relate changes it can bring you to a conflict that no one has any experience with. You may find yourself saying "since sex has little to no interest to me why am I spending time with someone who I was interested in because of sex?"
The thing that becomes so complicated is that "sexual" things ARE important and its not just a body function like taking a dump. Many people tie "intimacy" and love with expressing it in a physical way. Take THAT away (along with the power) and you have an even more complicated situation.
She maybe thinking many things. Among them "Ok, he is such a sex maniac that he has to take drugs and now - he is not only not interested in sex with the neighbors
As you know I'm not a fan of dialing down your sex drive to improve your marriage. I think having a healthy sexual need is good but you just have to focus it on your partner and not let it become a porn fest, cheating thing. Talking to an expert might be a direction?

Re: Wife Agreed to Chem. Castration
I'm just so pissed at her right now. We had a big fight as i was leaving. I'm just sick of her bullshit when it comes to my daughter and what she said saturday morning pissed me off. Then she is mad at me for being mad at her! I have a vivid memory of my 7 y.o. daughter crying and asking "why does **** not like me"? I should have divorced her then, in 97.....

Re: Wife Agreed to Chem. Castration
Day 17 Weight 220lbs
I feel energetic and physically good. Some of that, I'm sure, just comes from the fact that I have been eating good and loosing weight over the last few months. I'd love to get to the weight I was at at age 19 when I got out of Army Airborne School which was 179 lbs. I doubt I'll ever get that far, but I think 200 would be realistic and pretty healthy.
I can tell that T level has dropped and it feels like penis (maybe i should give it a name like salami did) has lost some feeling. It doesn't get erect without firm stimulation but can still get off. I don't feel irritable in a general sense but stupid shit pisses me off a little quicker. I have been sleeping good but it seems I'm less warm when going to bed and warmer in the morning. I'm usually cold blooded like a reptile in the morning and never covered up with a blanket until hours after going to sleep. I've lost most interest in porn or erotic stories but feel drawn more to the EA. Odd, huh?
I was pretty pissed at wife yesterday but cooled off and called her when I got closer to Houston. I didn't apologise for anything but facilitated keeping communication open. I don't like when we go through periods not talking. I figure if I'm not going to leave her over it, I should just smooth it over and get on with things.

ramses (imported) wrote: Sat Aug 18, 2007 6:11 am It sounds like your wife may be a little turned on by this. I think someone else here said their wife suddenly seemed more interested in sex as soon as he started chemical castration. I wonder how common that is?
Yes, that was me. My wife is on long term oestrogen supressing drugs since her breast cancer treatment. Her need for sex was already low, but now it's almost zero, plus her vagina is now fragile and gets sore easily.
I tried Cyproterone acetate a few months back and my wife did suddenly want to have sex 'whilst I could still get it up'. I stopped taking the cyproterone after a week because I was experiencing such awful hot flushes that I couldn't sleep.
I'm back to my old horny self (I have a sex drive more appropriate to someone in his 20s than my actual age of 52). Sex for us these days usually comprises me giving her a back massage followed by her giving me a hand job. Whenever she wants to speed up the process she talks about castration. There are other things she could think of but she likes the idea of my being castrated as it would mean an end to my frustration plus it'd let her off the hook and reduce the chances of my straying.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I think too many guys here go for total T reduction when all they need is a lowered T level.
