If she is in menopause sexual intercourse can be painful for her. A small amount of vaginal Estrogen (For example) fixes her issues with skin and lubrication. If she has lost sex drive a small amount of compounded Testosterone can spark her interest. If she is having emotional or other reservations about sex a couple of sessions with a therapy expert is well worth the time. The most important point is that fixing these issues that help your sex life together also come with elimination of wild mood swings, hot flashes, memory and other issues that she probably would love to get rid of.
I guess what I'm saying is ok if nothing else works go ahead and try depo but don't toss in the towel before you try some of the options. Or at least consider them. I think any form of castration should be done only after you try everything else. And as nice as cuddling is I mean... Sex? It can be an amazing thing.
Anyway good for you that your seeking help from a Doctor in all this. Liver problems are scary. Or should be!

I'm waiting to start DP until I can get the assistance of an MD - hopefully soon. I haven't decided whether to tell my wife. I've got an overnight trip to Las Vegas in September, so that's one reason to tell her, because I know she's pretty nervous about me being in Sin City, even for one night.
