I, too, thought of King of Hearts upon reading this thread, even though I haven't seen it since about 1973. I couldn't remember who was in it, but I see that it was Alan Bates. I don't suppose it's available on DVD?

I have it on VHS. I believe that I have seen DVD copies of it at Barnes & Noble. It is an odd film--dreamy and out-of-date but it is beautiful in its own way. I am with Alan Bates at the door of the mad house at the end of the film. And with the bird cage.

That sounds great Dad. You can check out my new photo-darkroom while your here. You could even bring some old negatives ( B&W ) to print.

Paint Your WagonHomer Simpson rented it. He was upset to see Lee Marvin and Clint Eastwood dancing! 📱 📱 📱I love the movie, in part, because I miss living in Oregon. ;)

And then Once Upon a Time in America only in long original version. I like John Wayne movies--John Ford directed the best of Wayne's flicks. Ford was not politically conservative like Wayne. However, he knew how to use Wayne. See She Wore a Yellor Ribbon when Wayne pulls out the glasses. ;)

I just saw a fun movie today, "I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry", starring Adam Sandler. Pretty fun movie.

Oh, and the actress in it, Jessica Biel is HOT!

I saw this one too, it was hilarious! Favorite line from this movie "What do we have vaginas now?" or "I'm catholic, I don't want to piss Mel Gibson off"

hehehe... fabulous...

And yes, I would have to agree Jessica Biel is smokin' hot.

"The Rainmaker" (1956) starring Burt Lancaster and Katharine Hepburn. What a great film. I understood her character so well.

"To Kill A Mockingbird" I would hate to admit how many times I have watched this movie. I wish Gregory Peck as Atticus Finch had been my dad.
