Question to Chemical Castration Veteran

Post by stealth0322 (imported) »

What are the long-term effects of using Depo Provera and/or Androcur? I do not see chemical castration as a long-term solution. Is there a time when you had to stop taking Depo Provera or Androcur do to health concerns and just have your testicals removed? Is it safe to take Depo Provera or Androcur year after year?

I have never tried androcur, but i was on depo-provera for 3+ years with no problems. I am back on it and so far no problems again. Some people it causes joint pain, back pain, etc. I get a soreness at the injection site for about 24 hours and then it goes away. I do not recommend anyone use more than 150mg/week, it takes longer to build up than 300/mg week but side effects are lessened. After you reach full effect you can increase the time between injections till you are at 4-6 weeks between doses, what ever still has good effect for you.

Androcur & Androcur-depot has allot of side effects but its much more powerful. The heptic instability is one of the reasons it hasn't been FDA approved yet for here in the states, plus its made by a smaller company who hasn't provided a big enough bribe^H^H, excuse me, evaluation fee, to overcome its safety concerns. You can order it from overseas and most likely it wont be stopped by customs, but if it is, its seized.

Thanks Mismatched

For taking the time to answer my post. If you don’t mind me asking another question. Have you experienced any bone density problems while taking Depo Provera? Do you have to take any calcium supplements?

I take a calcium supplement and a very small 1.25mg estrogen pill daily, I have noticed slight softening of my face but no other feminizing effects from it. This wards off many of the side effects. Other people have taken this low dosage and it resulted in severe feminization, so this isn't the solution for everyone.
