Yes, it absolutely is a fantasy site for a large majority of the folks here. For them it will never be anything more. Many come here out of simple curiosity after something caught their interest - heard or read a story, whatever.

For a select, much smaller number of folks, this is a very serious issue. Some pay lip service to their desire, but are too afraid to carry out their desires; there is always an excuse. Some actively pursue castration or penectomy or nullification - some with success, some not. Some use medical professionals to do this; some do not. Most medical professionals will not do this kind of surgery electively, ergo, some folks seek out "cutters." Some folks simply cannot afford to pay for what is sometimes a desperately needed procedure, and will try any other means they can think of.

Essentially, it IS a very BIG deal; it is NOT easy to accomplish; there can be several VERY steep prices to pay - psychologically, socially, physically, and monetarily. There are safety issues, as well.

For most here, none of this is an issue. It is fantasy and jerk off material - perfectly OK here. For the rest of us, accord the appropriate consideration to their needs, wants, desires, and their process of accomplishing them, or respecting the fact that they have, indeed, accomplished their goal(s).

Beyond that, do explore your curiosity and/or fantasy, and be welcome here, with full consideration of the needs of other members.

From what I understand the site started out as exclusively fantasy, and over time reality became a greater part of it.

Some people think that we now have too much reality on the site and that we need to bring back more of the fantasy-based origins. I know that I am a reality-based person, but I recognize that some are only here for fantasy and have no problem at all with that.

If you were really considering pursuing castration or a related procedure, then there would indeed be plenty of serious consequences to consider before doing so. But if you only want to fantasize about it, there is no need to be bothered with considering reality-based consequences that you will never have to worry about

If I had found the EA prior to my castration it would have been a fantasy site. Finding it after castration made it very much a reality site. The EA was incredibly helpful in helping me define my new reality. I must admit that I still single handedly enjoy the fantasy stories on the EA.

I would say this site is both a fantasy site and a reality site. It depends on your reasons for coming here and what you are looking for.

There is castration fantasy and there is castration reality. Some come here because they have castration fantasies, so for them this is primarily a fantasy site. Others are focusing on castration reality, so for them this is primarily a reality site. And there are probably some who come here for both.

Speaking as one of the "reality" people. I found the archive looking for information on Hormone replacment the surgery, and testicular implants. I guess I'm a "medical" person. The fantasy part of this? Its not exactly my cup of tea but I'm far from being a prude.

I've come to communicate with a fairly good sized group of people who are in similar fixes but for whatever reason most of the comm is by private message. Maybe a board for non fetish? Or Medical? Sister K? Do we cover that area already? I dunno. I just use the site I don't understand it.

Humm... As I say this I see that the TG board is medical and non fetish - I dunno. Clearly parts of this forum are for the Fantasy, sex (or lack of) stories and such. I think its been a great resource for people like myself who don't know anything or anyone who has had a bilateral orchiectomy and needed so badly to ask questions.
