hello stnl999.

All indications are that the effects of androcur are completely reversible. The dose that any individual needs to achieve the level of impotence they desire varies hugely.

25mg nocte is a low dose and You could fully expect full function sson after stopping.

As to stopping hair loss. Hmmmm. who knows, maybe. But I would not advise the use of androcur or any antiandrogens for that matter if the cessation of hairloss is all you are wanting.

Hope that helps

Chemical castration ought to slow down the progression of male pattern baldness. It might even completely stop, though certainly not reverse, it.

The medical indications are that long-term use of chemical castration will impair fertility. If you have any thoughts of wanting to produce children later, you ought to bank sperm, just in case. You may not need it, but insurance is always a good policy.

For some individuals, the castration effects even become irreversible after a long enough time. You might need to use testosterone supplements after a period of years, should you wish to reverse the effects and become masculine again.

A six month experiment ought to be completely reversible. However, YOUR MILEAGE MAY VARY. Take proper precautions.

25mg is a very low dose. It may have little effect on you. Most guys take around 100mg a day. It would be very wise to get your hormones tested now and see if any change happens. Hormone test is the only way to know how effective the drug is.

Actually, some eunuchs DO lose there hair. Lack of testosterone may prevent it with some, grossly slows it with most, and a few continue to shine or get shinier. If your only goal in using a chemical castration agent is to prevent hair loss, you are smashing flies with an eight pound maul. It suggests a great deal of insecurity, body image issues, or even misplaced vanity. Your question is certainly valid, the remainder is suspect.

VANITY-excessive pride in one's appearance, qualities, abilities, achievements, etc.; character or quality of being vain; conceit: Failure to be elected was a great blow to his vanity.

not to be confused with INSECURITY, VANITY is the people on myspace with all there gazzillions of pictures, posing and thinking they are just swell! ! !

Pride...a high or inordinate opinion of one's own dignity, importance, merit, or superiority, whether as cherished in the mind or as displayed in bearing, conduct, etc.

Misplaced vanity? I dont know what that is meant to mean? there is NOTHING vain about wanted hair on your head, kristoff just because you may be okay with being bald does not mean every man is . your face suits it. some of our faces wouldnt..or are bodies for that matter.

You can be sweet sometimes! other times you should chill a little, as i have mentioned previously hair loss can be devastating for someones self esteem and even lead to suicide.
