Further update - time about 2-months (I don't even remember when I did it exactly - have to check my first post). -- note: must have been 6/2 or 6/3/07 - first post was 6/5.

Libido is way down. Morning erections are sometimes absent and go away quickly. Semen emission is about half what it was before and orgasm feels a bit weak. Only two orgasms in 2 months time. I can still think sexy thoughts, but only when I want to and even then they go away quickly.

Now getting hot flashes. Wife even noticed.

There may be a possiblility that the right side blood vessels are slowly recovering from the clamping job. Right testicle is still shrunken and dead feeling however, compared to the left. I'm pretty sure that my left one is damaged too - from several banding experiments.

I am planning to see my doctor for a physical and a T test.

I find that aspect of a low T levels both comforting and annoying. I can be all hot and bothered one moment and the next I'm all like, "Oooh! Over there -- something shiny!", and then the urge to impale myself on Christian Bale disappears quite rapidly.

One of the biggest apparent liars is ***** - his story changes all the time. From what little contact that I have had via email, it is apparent that he is a pimp for a couple of Doms. He is far too interested in sex to be an eunuch as he claims.

I am going to visit my doctor for a physical soon (when we get done moving out of the old house and things calm down a bit). One of the things that I want checked is my T-level. I will keep you posted as to the results. If he wants an ultrasound, I'll have to tell him what I did....

This says more than anything in the entire post. "Tom’s" posts tend to bear that out quite amply. The experiences of MANY before you or Tom also bear this out.

Again, HIGHLY unlikely, but certainly possible. I generally take folk at their word, but will question things that don’t seem / feel quite right. If you tell me your T level has plummeted, or that an ultrasound shows no blood flow in the testicle, I’ll believe you. If you tell me without those, I’ll take you at your word, but I will still question it from afar. As such, no apology – merely explanation.

The reduction in urinary (blockage) is certainly always good news. It may or may not be a result of what you did. I could not say. Good luck there!

I would very definitely accept this as good evidence of at least some reduction in testicular output. At the very least, I do not believe that one could reasonably argue that a "placebo effect" could extend as far as shrinking of the prostate. I have also a hard time accepting that one could merely "wish away" a significant part of one's libido on - apparently - a more or less permanent basis.

It is a medical fact that testosterone approaches castrate values as soon as 3 to 12 hours post-castration *. This is true in the case of banding also, since there is an immediate, though often temporary, loss of testicular function. Thus, one could actually get a "glimpse" of a more or less "true" castration following a good banding session, but - initially - not for long (there are some exceptions, though, and that is the time isssue. It takes some time for the brain to fully realize that testosterone has been depleted. Some eunuchs still report changes in their emotions and attitudes as far as 2 years later). In my extensive experience, in order to obtain effective permanent results, one would have to do it repeatedly for a very long time, usually years, on BOTH testicles. Of course that depends on the method used, as well. The more aggressive the intervention, the more lasting and profound effect one would get. A good indicator of success is the reduction of volume and/or density, which you seem to have experienced at least on one of your nuts, apparently.

I'd like to think that my experience is not psychosomatic but is physiclaly induced. On the other hand, if I get results, does the method matter?

Now here's the weird part: I clamped only the right cord, but my wife insists that BOTH nuts have shrunk. Also, if my left one was functional, I would still have lots of T in my system. Here's my guess - I damaged the left one with banding attempts and only the right one was producing T, so when I clamped it off, everything quit.

I have been wondering if I should continue clamping at intervals. From what some of the others are saying, it sounds like I should. Just to make sure. I'll do both sides this time. (Squish, change grip, squish again!)

I want to end up with both balls dead anyway so that my doctor will have to refer me for surgery to a local urologist. I want both of them surgically removed to prove once and for all that I am an eunuch to anyone who needs to know.

I don't doubt that T levels become within eunuch range after only hours due to the short half-life of natural T, but unfortunately the effects of T loss don't seem to follow quite so quickly.

It would be nice if you were castrated and as soon as T levels hit the floor only hours later, you instantly lose all libido and become forever impotent.

But in reality, it seems to be that erectile changes seem to come first out of the sexual changes (note that I am referring to only sexual effects of castration when I say first - not things such as energy/mood changes). They seem to start within days to weeks, with near total impotence being reached in months.

Prostate reduction seems to take quite some time to change, and does not reduce or cease for long after T has hit zero. Seems to take weeks to months.

Libido changes seem to take the longest of all the sexual effects, with libido not reaching as low as it will go for months to even years, although changes will begin before that. But the idea of sex being "as fun as doing taxes" seems to take a long time to reach. Most eunuchs may not have an overwhelming need for sex soon after T loss, but they would still have a psychological interest in it for quite some time, and they would find the actual act much more exciting than taxes. This seems to have a lot to do with the fact that libido by no means needs T to live since a good part of it is produced within the brain.

So just because T has hit zero does not mean that the changes are instant. Libido, erectile function, and prostate function seem to be able to survive for quite some time after T has disappeared. For some they seem to never leave completely.

Thanks for all the input regarding changes to be expected and the timeline for same.

Here's my experience after some 2 1/2 months:

Prostate output is reduced significantly.

Urination is a lot freer and fluid retention is nearly gone - i.e. no need to pee in the middle of the night.

Libido is definitely going, but sexual activity is still possible although it is less pleasurable. (This morning, I penetrated my wife for a few minutes, but it was for her pleasure not mine, as I did not orgasm or want to orgasm.)

I can still think about sex, but only when I want to - which isn't that often.

Erections are not as strong or as easily obtained. Night time erections are mostly absent.

Some hot flashes are happening at random intervals, but are not bothersome. More like excessive sweating than anything else.

However, thinking about surgical castration or being castrated by a woman will cause me to have an erection! (I'm getting hard writing this!):dong:

Now a full eunuch as of 05:30 on 13 August 2007.

I clamped the right side again and discovered that it still lacks feeling. So right testicle is definitely dead. Then, while my wife watched, I clamped the left side cords for one minute. Ouch - that hurt! After waiting a couple of minutes, I did it again for a full minute just to make sure. Doing it underwater in our hot tub helps to dampen the pain (please pardon accidental pun).

Now having minor groin pain on left side (similar to pain on right side 2 months ago). Left testicle feels cool to the touch and eplidymus is shrunken. No pulse in left side cord. (Ditto for right side.)

Once both testicles are definitely dead, I'll go see my family doctor for a checkup and see if he notices....
