Yes there are growing, when they stop being tender that means the growth has stopped. The breast can also have growth with out being tender also.

I had run out of androcur for about 3 weeks and started getting the hard tissue under the nipples and soreness and they seem a little bigger which I already have some gynecomastia for some reason. I started taking the androcur again and the soreness seems to be going away. Anyone have an idea what is going on?

Hi,
Mike Hunt (imported) wrote: Mon May 21, 2007 2:06 pm I've been taking spironolactone(200mg/day) for quite some time (about 2 months), with very little effect. I decided to start taking oestrogen (4mg estrofem/day for 2 weeks) until my sex drive stopped then come off it and hopefully it'll give spironolatone the boost it needs.

Recently I've got some small lumps under my nipples and it looks like the areola is starting to develop. If i stop taking spiro and oestrogen will these go away on their own?

Also what is the likelihood that i'm now sterile?

Those are breasts you are growing, they will not go away. They may minimize a bit after time off estrogen etc.....next thing they get VERY tender and will be extremely sore to bang into things, and then they start growing.

It was like going through second puberty, I loved it.....:)

If you do not want breasts, probably should stop the E! because even after you stop taking the estrogen, the fatty tissue will dissapate but you will always have little volcano like boobs pointing out.....

:)

The "lumps" that started to form on my chest 6 months ago are now A cup breasts.

Glad to hear that!!! Been a while since I chatted with you.

Mine are right at full AA cups, not quite A cups......but I'm far more active and only taking a 2mg daily maintenance E pill - no T blockers........(Got an SO to keep happy now)....
