Hello to Hompty and to everyone on this thread. This is the first time I am posting so I am a bit nervous. But I was so moved by everyone's expressions of their feelings, I felt compelled to write. I imagine some eunuchs may prefer not to have committed relationships with just one person. But I'm thinking that there are just as many who, even though they chose to become eunuchs, this choice did not negate their desire to love and be loved by somebody special. Maybe intimacy would be defined differently - without sex - maybe by hand-holding, or hugging, whispering words of love, cuddling, kissing, holding each other in bed at night, taking baths together, being there for each other through good times and bad, being deeply loved by someone, and on and on.

This is so much deeper than friendship and I truly feel for what Hompty has expressed. I am a straight woman and I have been wandering in and out of this site for the last few years, always with the desire to find a true eunuch. I am not a fem dom and I am not in this site for fantasy or for sex play - my desires are genuine and I have some of the same feelings that Hompty described. And I too often feel the same feelings of loneliness. It is not a question of lack of friendships. But Hompty's question is a deeper one, "Is there nothing more than friendship?"

And believe me, if I am out there looking and NOT finding a eunuch (and I know there are other women out there looking and NOT finding; and there are eunuchs out there looking and NOT finding men, eunuchs, women, (etc.), then I raise a question... The Eunuch Archive is a magnificent site, filled with fabulous people, excellent support systems, wonderful information, truly everything a eunuch or wannabe could need. Then, why doesn't the EA take best advantage of its human resources to enable single, available members who are interested to connect with other members on-line?

I noticed that someone tried to start a Singles thread but it was shut down with a note that "searches for dating sites can be done on Google." But the fact is that the members on EA are quite unique and we are unlikely to find the kind of people we are looking for on Google, or any other site. So, for those who have decided that the eunuch life (either our own or a potential partner's) is for us, where are we to go to find that special person? It is difficult to wait for a once-per-year meeting in our part of the world - statistically, the chances of success are pretty small. Doing something like this on EA may not be manageable, but I thought I would raise the discussion.

Good thought and I wish I had the answer to your question about the dating post but someone will answer that for you.And for me being a eunuch has been a blessing to me and I have many more friends in here and outside then ever befor.I find women will accept me for who I am but men cant mayby its that men dont have the tender feelings that gay transgender and eunuchs have.I dont know but I do see this and feel diffrent then I did befor my surgery.Mayby women dont feel threatened and I know my wif

Quite some time ago we decided not to permit personals on the forums because of the problems that it would create. At that time we had a Personals Section totally separate from the forums. That software crashed some time ago, we don't have money to be a new package, and until someone comes up with such, we wont have personals. Many of the personals we did get would make the nose hair of an old battle axe like me curl up. I would suggest if someone seems interesting here, send them a PM (private message).

love love love, im really not into the idea of sex......i dont get the point, i dont see it having anything to do with love....though i cant have sex without love, but what im saying is ..i feel close to someone when i am holding there hand , sharing who i am with them and them sharing who they are with me. sex makes no sense to me, but to pro-create...so many problems it makes, sex is death to me..

I have too, been a loner most of my life. I find myself alone much of the time. Wondering when I will finally meet people I can connect with and just be myself around. I am very much a unique individual, and it is hard to find friends who share the same interests.
