Gynecomastia?
It could be my imagination, but I think my breasts are getting larger. I know this can be from excess testosterone turning into estrodol. I was wondering if male breast growth is different where you don't get the pain in the breasts as so many talk about that are trying to grow breasts. I have no pain, but they do seem bigger. I kind of hope so. I've always wanted breasts. This way I can blame it on the T.

Re: Gynecomastia?
After starting Testosterone my breasts have been growing. The endocrinologist I see said that I am among less than one percent of those on replacement therapy. Mine are sensitive and itch under the nipples and there is glandular tissue growing beneath each nipple. --FLO--

Mine are growing too. have been on testogel 50 mg/day since Sept 2003, and in Nov 2003 I was castrated. My endo (female) said always after castr a man will grow breasts.
But much I wonder, will the grow ??

Re: Gynecomastia?
I have had gynocomastia (though not real noticeable) since puberty and tenderness every so often. As far as I know there is nothing you can really do about the tenderness except wear a bra for protection but since I am a male in normal every day life that is not an option for me. So the next best thing is a couple of T-shirt layers.

I think some breast growth is probably for all men.
But you do NOT want high levels of estrogens if your on male HRT. This is not healthy and does not "work" right. I know! Been there. If your out after breast growth I think you should talk to your MD about transition and using female HRT properly.
