What's this "Reputation Received" stuff.

Hello Eunuch Archive Message Boards Technicians,

I just noticed that I have four green squares under my alatar. I think this has something to do with "Reputation Received".

I'm wondering... Can I see who has given me "points"?

And... How can I give points to others?

Also... Is there a method to give a comment a "boo" or s "negative point"?

Hay snookie you get my vote and to give to others just click under thoes green marks you have and a box will come up to approve on not approve of this person or post.Click on userCP in the top left hand corner to see your total points or if someone has given you a message of thanks.

Click on the little scale beneath the boxes. You get a window that asks to approve or disapprove of posts. Regular members cannot see who gave them what, no. Only ADMINs can. What the boxes symbolize is basically how well (unknown) others like your posts.

Yesterday I tried to give a reputation to someone and it told me, in no uncertain terms, that I had to 'spread it around a bit' first!! I didn't even remember that I'd obviously commended that particular poster before. I guess it's to prevent people having their friends click on the 'reputations' thing but I'm off now, to spread some love around!!

I just found a couple of pics the other day on an old floppy disk that are that same character; I have no clue where he came from!

I don't know how much you have to spread it around first, but I just experimented giving you some, then giving someone else some. I still couldn't give you more yet. Told me I had to spread it around some more.
