It is easier to convince a urologist you have painful testicles that need removing. But this approach takes time.

Re: Burdizzo castrations
But again, my other question is, if it is supposedly done 'RIGHT' on a human, for all intensive purposes, in the best possible way, in the best possible manner, with all expectations achieved with the instrument.........
What THEN happens to the man and his testicles? Do they... Can they.... Will they just shrivel up and dissappear with no dangerous medical, physical problems whatsoever?
Is THAT possible?

Re: Burdizzo castrations
the absolute best way is to talk a urologist into doing the removal. It can be done done with insistance.
I wanted it to be done with a burdizzo by my wife as that was my fantasy.
My experience is the testicles shrank for 2 years to the size of peanuts.I healed very fast and had no pain after the healing. When my doctor saw the result he insisted on removing them which he did in his office under a local in about 30 minutes.
I heal fast and easy.Other experience may not be the same.
My wife is a expert also being a vet.

Re: Burdizzo castrations
I have only my own experience with the burdizzo which was preformed by a vet who has done it on animals a 1000 times and knew how to do it properly and was familiar with the anatomy of the scrotum and the testicles.
The other is a medical doctor who used a burdizzo which I thought would be too small to do a proper job.In the medical article he castrated the man successfully as the article says the testicles shrank and hormone levels dropped to castrate levels.
I think the biggest problem with using a burdizzo is the amateur using it.

Re: Burdizzo castrations
I don't plan on useing a burdizzo. I was just curious if it was physiologically possible for a male humans testicles to atrophy and be absorbed by the body with no ill effects of necessary medical attention.
(On the basis of course, of having a human version of the burdizzo applied in the best of all possible medical situations and conditions)

Re: Burdizzo castrations
Thanks every body, Seem the general consensus is that a burdizzo is not the way to go but some feel in the hands of anoperateur with the right tool it maybe possible. I have the toll but not the operator and the risk seem to high so i will probably change threads and go for chemical castration. you'l probably see me post there soon after i read what has been said. Any private messages are appreciated.

There has only been one single journal article about a doc doing this with a TG person, and claiming success, so far as I can find. And I am suspicious of it.

I remember Shannon posting something about it on BME a while back,,I would be amazed if the AMA actually supported it,thought I guess there is supply and demand in the medical field as well
