Sorry, but I still have good positive memories of Doctor Kimmel. He was courteous, professional, compassionate, competent & thorough. Perfect? No, but neither am I. So unless you have met the good doctor, you have no right to bash him. Keep your comments to yourself.
Doctor Kimmel did not mention any lengthy discoloration. He did say that there would be swelling and that my scortum would get black & blue. The lower part of my penis also turned black & blue, but nothing like you describe. Maybe he was working with new instruments or trying a new technique with you. Why don't you call him and discuss it with him? Hash

I'm not trying to bash anyone, but it does disturb me that what ought to be nothing more than a simple operation one step beyond a vasectomy can have so many seeming complications.

quite often the complications arise from folks not following directions, a VERY frequent occurance here, among other things.

A now. not to getback on topic, but too, i do remember the doc telling of a lastig discoloration due to the injection of medication. i find it rather odd that i was the only one told of this, but any who, i would call him ecxept im putting it off. I am gathering my thoughts.... or some thing like that.
No, he did not mark the location of the injections with pen. so the tattoo thing is not possible. also the mark on the left is rather large, the size of a 25c piece. the strange thing about in all is that post operation i have developed a similer mark on my right foot, its not pailful, just a deep discoloration.
I remember very well, the feeling of the operation, my leg twitching and shooting out to the side. multiple injections mid surgery, and the doctore asking me to lay back and stop talking. some of the things done in his "office" taint my thoughts. when i reflect, i try to think of the out come, and not so much of the path leading up to my current situation.

Considering your multiple unusual reactions during and after your surgery I do believe a consultation with the doctor is called for. --FLO--

Z.,
I think it may be something related, but perhaps via something else.
Didn't you have some other health issues before?
Odd bruising for no reason, combined with odd cravings for sweets and junk concerns me. I'm not a Dr., but I have one of "those feelings" I get from time to time.
I don't recall anyone else ever reporting anything like this from a testosterone falloff - castration physically or otherwise.
Please keep us informed and discuss it with a Dr., OK?

I echo what Paolo said. Many of us here care about the other fellow Eunuchs here, including you. Please keep posting.

I am sure that another doctor visit is probably the best thing to do, however no doctors seem to have any answers to my question. blood work might be done, but things are different in my blood that they are used to and have to concern to explain what that means. i have waisted so much time and money the past few years on going in for an explanation and help, coming out with a proscription or impiety handed is not enough for me anymore. i want answers. no doctor has been able to help me with those, so i feel the need to stop going.
i feel so strongly about this, now more than ever. eunuchs need valid medical attention. sure advice from another castrati helps, but bottom line, few of use are medical doctors and have any real understanding of the long term care that an individual eunuch needs.
The power of all you talking with me is greater than that of a doctor.

Re: sight of injection site
Interesting subject. I just got back from seeing my new endocrinologist. My recent blood test had some high readings, something about "hema globin" and my doctor sent me to this endocrinologist. She was young and drop dead gorgeous, but I had no sexual thoughts about her. I did notice her breasts but not in a sexual way, which is great for me. She asked about how I got castrated, I gave her a concise truthful story, she sat there quietly and took it all in. She did not judge me but listened intently and then checked my thyroid, by asking me to drink a glass of water and she felt my neck while swallowing. Never did that before. Anyways, she asked about erections and sex, and again she seemed surprised that I was not interested in it. Needless to say, this was a unique experience. I've got to go back beginning of June. I'll keep you informed. Hash
