With the hemoglobin test still pending, I did get a pretty good bill of health from the doctor today.
Height - 5'9"
Weight - 154 lbs., stripped (down from 210 lbs. in July '06)
Waist - 31.5"
Pulse - 88
BP - 106/40
Temp - 97.5F
Fasting blood sugar - 91 mg/dl
Urine protein - negative
Urine sugars - negligible
Ketones - tolerable
Vision - corrected - 20/10
In fact, my blood sugar log is so good that the Dr. pretty much said an A1C is not really needed right now. As soon as I can swing it though, I'm going to have it and have a T. count as well.
The only problem is the "kennel cough" and the sinus infection, which is treatable. This time it isn't going to turn into pneumonia!

Re: Checkup
Congratulations on the great numbers. I have just recently climbed back on the good health bandwagon. Now would be a good time to sell McDonald's stock before it plummets.

Re: Checkup
Those are very good numbers,Paolo. From a fighting machine you have become the famous "lean and mean" fighting machine.
Now with that 20/10 vision, can you see around a corner? H.
I thought 20/10 meant "Objects In Mirror Are Closer Than They Appear."

Re: Checkup
I'd say it means that with the unchanged lens prescription, my vision has improved since July.
