Music and dreams
Hello everyone,
I've been lurking here for some time but now I actually have some questions. Namely, how does it affect your musical taste? Do you still listen to the tunes that you used to? And secondly, does it affect your dreams? Do you sometimes dream about women or other genders that you find attractive? Sorry for being so straitforward, but I am really curious. I am also very much into the stories archive and actually write some on my own, although not castration-related.
Regards,
Karol P.

Before I was castrated I wondered how many things about me would change. I did not know how many things I enjoyed were influenced by my sex drive. Now I can say I like the same music and art as before. I do feel like I have a greater appreciation and they are more important to me now.
As far as dreams are concerned I dreamt of men before and I dream of men after. Others have mentioned new interests but that has not changed for me. One very interesting thing is now when I look at porn or other pictures of handsome men I am more interested in knowing what kind of person they are. Now a kind word, warm smile and gentle touch trump looks totally.
I want to welcome you to the EA.

I totally gave up punk, grunge, head banging, heavy metal, and general nastiness in favor of opera, some Bach when feeling lifted by the spirit, a bit of Brahms when feeling feisty (i.e., some of his Hungarian dances), sometimes a bit of Charles Ives when feeling discordant or even a bit schizophrenic.
Actually, I like almost all music, always have. My hearing sux big time, but I give it all a shot. I despise this woman-hating (generally hateful) modern rap (some of it IS good) (hell, Gregorian chant could be considered rap...). Mostly though, I will not listen to Country-Rap (CRAP for short), though I do like a lot of Country.
As for most other things - everything is pretty much the same.... I can be an asshole or a saint, and everything in between, and so can you. Life goes on.

Same here.
Re: Music and dreams
Before my hormonal crash some years ago, I listened to metal and hard rock. I still do. However, now I listen to things IN ADDITION and appreciate them, like choral - Libera, various choirs, and New Age like Vangelis and Zamfir.
As far as dreams, I've always been a bad sleeper and had nightmares, and still do. The last time I had a T. count it was somewhere around 65.

Thank you for your great answers. I have been looking forward to reading them today. Actually I have another question loosely connected with art. Namely, could you tell me about your perception of colours and vision in general? What are your favourite colours?

Re: Music and dreams
Hello again everyone, I am so glad there are more answers as I almost thought you felt offended by me being too curious and stopped posting in this thread. I am also very glad to participate in this community as my country is not that sex positive at all and hardly anyone knows anything about the EU-nukes
in this part of Europe. I guess I can continue being curious and ask you a more specific question. You mentioned improving the sense of smell. Did you see THIS movie:
Perfum (http://imdb.com/title/tt0396171/)
Any impressions? I do not ask you only as community members but simply as fellow movie fans as well.
