Progynon Depot Injection?

I have yet another question ^^ I just noticed today that inhouse pharmacy received a new product. http://www.inhousepharmacy.com/transgen ... depot.html

It is called Progynon Depot and Each 1 ml amp contains 10mg of Estradiol Valerate. As I mentioned before I currently use x2 Estraderm 100TTs patches but I have been wanting to try an estrogen injection for a while now.

I wondered if anyone knew if this was a good product to use or not? and if it was then what range of dosages would be recommended to use with it?. The patch releases 17ß-diol (estradiol) and I was wondering if it was different from Estradiol Valerate and if it was any safer or dangerous?

The box does not come with syringes so how much of a problem it would be to get some?.

Hi fami,

I'm taking Progynon Depot for a while, one injection each third week (started with 14 days interval, but my estradiol-value was a bit too high).

But I'm post-op TS and each person needs another dosage - please ask your endocrinologist.

Here in Germany it's easy to get syringes in the pharmacy (even without prescription). I use a 0.8 x 40 mm (21 G x 1 1/2") needle to fill the syringe and 0.5 x 40 mm (25 G x 1 1/2") to inject the viscous estradiol oil.

I'm very satisfied with this kind of hormone application. It's good for my mind and my body .

The injecting procedure is similar to that of Depo-Provera, correct? it must be injected in the outer upper quadrant, must remove all bubbles from the syringe, clean the area with an alcohol swab? and let it dry, pinch skin /inject, check for blood?.

I don't have an endocrinologist but TS friends have been suggesting that since I wear two estraderm TTS 100 patches and change them every 4 days, [as directed] I should take roughly 40mg Progynon-Depot monthly, 10mg every 7 days. I would have to inject 1ml every 7 days, containing 10mg EV [Estradiol Valerate]. any comments on this?.

Syringes aren't hard to get. I bought mine I used for my autocastration from a website that sold them for vaccinating your cat.

Simply a word that means clipping your own equipment - not a well advised pursuit - often quite dangerous.

I just received my order of progynon depot ^^ The only thin missing is the needles though they will probably get here within the next days. The injection procedures is the same as depo provera, correct? ^^

Progynon is a trade name for estradiol valerate. I should think there would be no difference between injecting it and injecting any other estrogen solution. --FLO--

Both of these medications are injected in a similar manner into the larger muscle of the leg or buttocks. There are some tips in this thread (http://www.eunuch.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=8434) on how to inject properly.
