So. Carolina Eunuch Need2Be Seeking TG Friendly Dr.

Hello All: I moved to So. Carolina for a carreer move 6 months ago and I can't find a Dr. in SC that is sympathetic to prescribing Sub Trasdermal Estradiol and Anti Androgen treatment.

I was diagnosed TG 5 years ago in the NW, was on HRT and working on castration. My goal is chemical castration for at least 6 months before surgical removal of the testicles and scrotal tissue. I'm considering nullification but have a strong comfort with Castration first.

Life happened, lay offs and financial considerations had to take priority. The Dr. I was using no longer is in practice and I need your assistance in getting back on HRT quickly. I turn 50 this year and would like to complete my need to live as a eunuch. It would be the best present I could give myself. I'm hoping for your assistance.

Any Suggestions, guidance or solid contacts in the Carolinas/Agusta GA area would be appreciated.

I just wanted to note that I spent nearly an hour on the telephone with PaulJenné yesterday. It was a very pleasant conversation with an intelligent and articulate person.

PaulJenné was taking all the proper steps with chemical castration leading toward surgical while he lived in the Northwest. Unfortunately, his job has taken him to South Carolina and he needs contacts and assistance in an area that is decidedly less friendly toward his needs.

I hope that someone here will be able to offer some advice.

I too hope someone has good advice to offer. In New Orleans and Baton Rouge, I have met TG people. Having to worry about doctors is just too much.

I'm sorry that this individual is experiencing problems. I have yet to find anyone in the Carolina's that will assist you prior to removing your testicles. Most doctors around this area are so wrapped up in their own masculinity they won't do anything until they are gone.

Transgender practitioners are even more diffcult to find. I wish I knew the link (I had it before my new 'puter) so I could tell you to try to find a gay friendly doctor that understands such things. Usually gay friendly are more open minded. That may be one way for you to go. See if there is one in your area.

I know that those in the list are gender therapists only (and I'm not sure if you are seeing one right now) but they may lead you a doctor who can help.

I'm make progress with contacting a few counselors and doctors in the region but as 'life happens' work and finances do play a roll.

I'm seriously considering joining Dr. Kimmels' class of 2007 and will keep all up to date.
