I heard about a year or so ago on a program on heredity on the Discovery Channel that no one alive on earth today is any more distantly related to any other person than tenth cousins. Sounds incredible to me, but of course I believe everything I hear. I don't know which would be worse, being a Thurmond or a Sharpton.

Nice theory, but it appears to me that in going through this so-called "BOTTLENECK" (http://www.curiousnotions.com/curiosity ... ?number=10) that somebody's head got squeezed (http://www.madhauscreative.com/Componen ... head03.jpg) a little too tightly for their own good.

Sometimes this (http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/media/images/4 ... y1.203.jpg) sort of thing gets ugly.

Please explain my sudden demise (http://www.bigmattress.com/mt-archives/ATT14.gif) to my poor cat now. I am sure that she will get no response from me.
