Avatar questions

Hello there --

I finally uploaded an avatar yesterday and noticed that it keeps disappearing.

I uploaded it yesterday afternoon, and then when I logged back in in the eveing it was gone. I re-uploaded it, and it was still there this afternoon -- and is now gone again.

Am I following the prompts incorrectly (I don't think so .....)

Or is it being removed by Moderator for content reasons?

I certainly meant nothing offensive by it -- and to be honest, have seen plenty more risque Avatars that retain here on the boards.

Mine was a download from the "Men Wanting Vaginas" yahoo group.

So -- I suppose you get the idea of the content.

As I said, it wasnt meant to be provocative -- I thought it was actually very cute.

Anyway ... just curious.

Some of the avatars were pulled.

One in particular was making me ill every time I saw it.

If in doubt, email it to me or the Nun.

Also, when you upload an avatar, it should be no more than 199 pixels in the largest dimension, and no more than 15K in file size if a JPG. BMP's are also accepted. The problem with scrambled avatars is a VBulletin resize/compression bug they have not fixed yet.

I hope my avatar doesn't make any one ill, but I must say I am not entirely pleased with it my self. I don't think I look this bad when I dress... at least I hope I don't

Jema; contact Paolo about fixing your avatar. I can't imagine your appearance making anyone ill. --FLO--
