I wear a metal ball ring (think cock ring but smaller) to remind me that they are still attached. I have always loved wearing a ball ring, but in the past it would make me very horny. I use to get so horny wearing it that i would put it on jack off then have to take off. Since starting my anti depression pills i have moved up to almost a one pound worth of ball rings, and have worn them for just over a week at a time. Now days i take them off long enough to shower and wash the rings, and if i have to get dressed up in suit.

When I do have them off it is very easy for me to forget all about sexual desires...unless a cute guy comes along! 😄

I guess my concern at present is that the longer I`m on the paxil, the more I seem to be getting used to my sexless life style. My wife says that is a good thing, but I just don`t feel comfortable sliding into this as a permenant arrangement. I still wish we could have sex again together.

I`ve gone down on her many times when she comes home after sex with her boyfriend and she enjoys the humiliation factor of this. She says the sooner I accept the current state of things the better off we`ll be. No going back to the problems I had before.

She continues to bring up the idea of chemical castration as a solution. She has been researching castration and says it would help a guy in my situation adjust to things as they are, instead of wishing for something I can`t have. In her mind there`s no going back and my sex life is over. It happens to every man eventually, she points out, just earlier in life for some. Impotence for men in thier late 30`s is common. She says it would take away the last bit of desire and afterwards I`d be more content with our lifestyle.

With her insistance, I asked the therapist who said she does give the depo-provera injection to some of her patients. These guys come in once a week for thier shot. She said some men require stronger medications than paxil to control there drive. She says the depo shot ends the drive and erections completely. It`s emasculating effects are rather drastic and finds starting with the strong dose of paxil makes it an easier transition for most guys, if it is needed. She even said one of her patients has even went on to surgical castration, with her referal. She says its not uncommon to have such sexual problems in marrages and feels like she has helped many great couples that would have broke up other wise.

Apperantly she got interested in this when close friends were on the verge of break up from "sexual incompatibility"(sexual addiction, husband having affairs, prostitutes). Great partners in every other way, they were having huge problems. The wife turned to her for help and he agreed to treatment. He has been on depo-provera for 3 years and they have peace and a great relationship. He is very happy and content with life, she says. She said he started on paxil but also was very " restless and unsatisfied" until the depo stopped his testosterone production. She says the use of medication to treat sexual problems is growing at a huge rate.

I`ve rambled on, but just looking for info. Thanks
