What can I do?

Post by jemagirl (imported) »

Hi gang,

I'm not confused about what I feel or who I am. I know how I feel, and I know my testicles... ughhh! how I hate to even write those word :( well "my testicles".... they have to go.... but...

I have no money to pay for surgery and I am in such a state of... sgh

Back in 2004 I self applied a budizzo in an attempt to fix the problem my self. Unfortunately it didn't work. I promised my self and every one here that I would never do any thing so reckless again. Well I was not able to keep my promise. In fact during my absences from the EA, I again used the burdizzo on several different occasions, and all I have managed to leave a bunch of scars on my scrotum ( another favorite word of mine ) :(

I can't imagine having testicles for the rest of my life and I can figure out how to get rid of them.

Dear jemagirl,

I know from first hand experience how difficult it is is to have those things hanging there and the dreaded testosterone they produce, but there are a couple of things to consider first.

Castration is not the right thing for everyone.

Have you tried chemical castration?

I would highly suggest a try with the chemical route first...just to make certain you're happy with the results and if you are, then it's time to consider a more "permanent solution" to the matter and by then maybe your financial situation will have changed.

Keep your head up Girl and don't lose hope! :)

Hi EricaAnn,

Yes I was on spiro, and it was good, but I ran out of money and can't afford it any more. Also it's not just about the testosterone for me. I have some issues with body image that chemical castration doesn't fix.

Ack, that's how it was for me too. After being T-free for soo long and then to suddenly be knee deep in that crap was just hell. I felt so extremely desperate. I spent most of 2006 stuck like that.

At least chemical castration and a generous supply of estrogens can shrink them down quite a bit so they're not as troublesome, though ultimately no fix for the whole body image thing.
